Have stayed here about 4 times now in the last 20 months, having been sent here as accommodation for training we underwent at another facility nearby. The accommodation can be a bit hit and miss; there are new rooms, and older rooms. The old rooms are in modular porta-cabins with paper thin walls, and are much smaller; they're also far from everything else, and not convenient from the standpoint of parking, either. The new rooms, well... you could be forgiven for thinking you're in a 4 star hotel, they're that good! From these new rooms, you're seconds away from Reception, the Bar, the Cafeteria, and the Gym. The bar isn't the most lively place here, but it's got its limited selection of drinks, a few pool tables, tv's, lounge, etc. It's fine to unwind, after a day's training. The cafeteria is very good! A brilliant selection of food, even for vegans like me. Good portions, plenty to choose from, it's clean, and sitting is plentiful. But the hours... it could do with opening a little earlier for breakfast, and closing a little later for dinner (especially on a Sunday!) The gym is smallish, but well-equipped, and I've never seen it full to the extent that I've ever had to wait for a machine or weights. The FSC is just off the A44, and there's nothing around it, locally. A few miles down the road is Moreton town itself with shops, etc... but unless you have a car, you're pretty much stranded at the College.

Absolutely vile this place. The cafeteria is a disgrace. Always runs out of the very limited food available. At breakfast you can only have 1 of each item and no swaps. Want a bacon sandwich? Then you cannot have an egg. The rooms are also hideous and dirty. The building is covered in cobwebs so much so you have to duck just to get into the building cobweb free. Milk 4 months out of date in my room. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.

Fantastic place had my Training all the way coming from Bangladesh..... Trainner Eddie was a nice Guy.....

Brilliant facilities and training. Pity is not run by the government any more. Privatisation

A great facility for firefighters looking to develop their skills. There are so many scenarios and exercises that can be carried out here including domestic fires, business fires, train collisions, plane crashes, search and rescue etc
