Good pub good prices nice atmosphere and people. There are not two many drinking pubs left, they are almost all foody, wine, front room types of inns. But this is a good drinking pub. Only down side is the looes are a little smelly and messy.
What can I say. Not only the best pub I've been to in Bristol, but probably in my top 10. Decent range of beer at a price you'd expect 10 years ago, quality locals, and the landlady is mint. Sports on the telly, great banter, a range of entertainment and a proper local for local people vibe. Not a food gaff, but the beef and horseradish rolls behind the bar are a meal in themselves. If you like a spit and sawdust/does what it says on the tin kind of place, this is for you. If you prefer a more upmarket hipster experience where you pay £5 for a pint and sit on uncomfortable picnic furniture inside then there's a ton of alternatives locally. If you fancy a well priced decent pint and great atmosphere, with an Aldi and bus stop within 30 seconds walking distance maybe a couple of minutes after a couple of pints then this is the place for you.

Certainly is a good place. Although, only came in for a drink. Very hot inside, better with a bit of air con.
What can I say Dirty pint glass looked like bogies in the glass asked for a replacement and the replacement was also filthy
I've never been in a pub in Bristol where I felt so unwelcome. Waited at the bar for 20 minutes and was told I was at the back of the queue because I didn't sound like a local. Holding pen for Jeremy Kyle show antagonists.
Friendly local pub,very good prices. Excellent people
