The Good: Great location close to the Causeway and Bushmills Distillery. There is free parking in the back but it is pretty easy to miss as the drive is very narrow. A family run business and they are nice to talk with. The Less Good: This is a historic hotel and the rooms are quite small and very spartan. This is fine, just know ahead of time. The breakfast was not very good and was made or at least reheated in a microwave we heard it. If I did it over again I would skip the breakfast option and eat elsewhere.
Had a lovely 2 night stay last week. Tracey,Raymond and family are very welcoming. Breakfast set us up for the day can't wait to go back in a few months. Highly recommendRooms: 5/5
They pour a mean Guinness here! : and the pool table was fun to play on. I never stayed here, just came drinking one night with a group of friends!
The owners clearly love their pub and guests! It's a traditional, many generations, family owned Irish pub with updated accommodation. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. You can bring your takeaway to eat at the bar, have a drink or two and soak up the stories and history. Breakfast was delicious and you could have almost anything you could want. We loved our short stay, it was memorable and full of smiles.
This review is for poor communication. I requested to cancel the morning of the day prior to my one night booking; granted, this was last minute, and the cancellation policy indicated I would not receive a refund. However, as it was high season, I hoped the property would be kind enough to refund my money and re-let the room. They would not. In fact, they would not even respond by phone or online until the day after the booking. They finally responded the day after the booking stating I had cancelled too late. Why not respond sooner? Poor customer service.
Quite and unassuming place, hosts went above and beyond for our visit. Room was small, but so was price, breakfast was good.Rooms: 5/5
It’s a great place to stay – very comfortable, clean & warm rooms. The friendly and extremely helpful stuff makes the stay even more pleasant – They helped us choose the best whiskey, served us delicious breakfast and shared the history of the area seen through the eyes of the locals. We were fascinated by the stories and extremely grateful for them. We could feel as part of the community for a tiny moment. What’s more, this family run business has quite a convenient location as it’s a walking distance from Bushmills Distillery, nice takeaways, other pubs & some restaurants, and only 5 min drive from Giant Causeway and Dunluce Castle!
Family run B&B/pub. Very friendly welcome. Rooms are bob standard but very clean. Coffee or tea available at the bar, included in price. Beautiful breakfast fit for a King. Not my first stay, and all being well, won't be my last. Rooms: 4/5
