As soon as you meet Margarita you feel as though you're in good hands! Finchley Foot Clinic is the 3rd place I've tried over the last 12 years to get rid of an incredibly persistent and by it's 12th year HUGE verruca. Margarita was very sensitive, understanding and competent. She knew exactly what needed to be done and was very encouraging and optimistic through each visit. And now I can happily say with much relief the verruca has gone. A very happy client.
Very happy with my daughter’s treatment at the Finchley Foot Clinic. Margarita did a great job treating her in-grown toenails. Everything went smoothly from booking the first appointment through to the aftercare. Would definitely recommend.
Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the positive feedback on this small chain of three foot clinics based in North Finchley, South Hampstead & Edgware. Based on four appointments with foot clinic owner Margarita Taglia, I would say her clinical practice gives cause for concern. Most notable is her failure to keep up to date with and refer to patient notes, with the result that she often appears unsure of the diagnosis, needs to ask the patient to 'remind her of the symptoms' and gets confused as to what the presenting problem was. Of even greater concern is the fact that Margarita appears to lack insight and willingness to reflect on her practice. Instead, she blames her confusion on 'too much to do', 'not enough time' and/or 'too many patients'. In addition, she shows little regard for basic protocols such as patient privacy. I have twice arrived to find the door to the consulting room left open, so that patients can be seen by anyone in the waiting room. My own view is that this practice should review its CPD schedule, increase clinical supervision and reduce case loads. I am seeking a second opinion on the quality of the orthotics I have received and will update this review when I have that. Many people like myself are turning to private podiatry because their NHS podiatry services are no longer available. This makes it especially important that private services meet high quality standards. Postscript: In fact, I twice raised concerns that Margarita did not refer to/seem familiar with my patient notes. The responses were 'not enough time etc'. I made quite clear I felt this was unacceptable. There should be a record of this on my notes!
I made a first appointment at The Foot Clinic in North Finchley N12 earlier this week. I met Margarita who was gentle, professional, kind and caring. The Clinic is scrupulously clean. Margarita's daughter - Sophia - was the Receptionist and also training to become a chiropodist. Off-street parking. Altogether a great experience. Thank you!
Anna & her team were professional from my initial phone call. Anna made me feel so comfortable throughout my treatment. I’ve booked a follow up appointment in 2 months. I would highly recommend Finchley Foot Clinic
My son had numerous verrucas on his feet a warts on his hands. Anna recommend the Swift microwave treatment and 3 months later after only one session they have gone. Anna was very professional and explained all the options. I would recommend.
I'm very thankful to find this clinic. After many attempts in other clinics the swift treatment was the one that helped me to get better. The doctor was very kind and had a gentle hand different from the experiences I had before. She is polite, thoughtful and a wonderful person.
Great experience as usual- staff are always very friendly and helpful. I like how they take the time to explain your treatment and give you a variety of options to consider. I have been using a new treatment- swift - for a verruca and it worked a treat. Previously nothing had shifted this stubborn visitor but the new treatment has cleared it up quickly and easily.
Due to the pain caused by my ingrowing toe nail that I've been suffering from for several years, I decided to go to this clinic for surgery. It was a quick surgery, and it has been a great relief for me after suffering for years. I tried several things to fix this problem but the only thing that helped was surgery. I really like the podiatrist at this foot clinic. As a result of her gentleness and thorough explanation of all the information I needed to know, I felt extremely comfortable, and I found the receptionist to be very pleasant. I highly recommend this place and please don't hesitate if you suffer from foot problems. Thanks to your help, my feet are much happier!
This was my second visit to get treatment and I feel so relieved of the suffering I had been experiencing for the last 8 months. Podiatrist was so patient, calm, gentle and kept checking in with me every minute to see how i was coping and to make sure I could bear the pain. I regret not going to her any sooner. She spoke in length about the problem and how she was going to try to fix it. She did the swipe microwave therapy but tried to make it as painless as possible for me. I feel in such safe hands. Thank you for looking after me. Would recommend her to everyone suffering with a stubborn verruca and her prices are very reasonable.
