This used to be one of the best Chippys in Mansfield Fillets. After a couple of bad experiences at Barcod we gave it the benefit of the doubt, but after another bad meal we'll be avoiding. This was supposed to be a mini fish but was more like a goujon! For the high prices they charge its shocking.
Great fresh food, was cooked to order and was quick in doing so. Owners were very friendly and wanted to make sure everything was OK and to our liking. Good take over from fillets and glad I went, thank you guys
Rather surprised when collecting a takeaway tonight to see a party of 6 seated together drinking although we are in tier 4, I was told it was ” fine “ by a staff member as it was only the owners! This is unprofessional and unacceptable the message is STAY AT HOME. I will not be supporting this business again.

Unfortunately the fish despite cooked to order was well overcooked to the point the fish had dried out in the finest areas, the batter burnt. The chips had been far to long out the fryer, very hard and not fluffy potato. The peas were ok. I was charged £15.95 for a large fish, a large fish, chips and peas.
