I joined the gym in April and am really enjoying the Fighting Fit classes. Very friendly, supportive atmosphere. Knowledgeable instructors who adapt the exercises to suit your capabilities. Becky and Matt also qualified for sports massage and physio which is a bonus for my mobility
I have recently joined Fighting Fit after it was recommended to me by a couple of friends, I was anxious to join a group exercise routine as I always tended to gym solo! but Aussie Dave could not have been more welcoming! His enthusiasm and variety of exercise routines coupled with a nice bunch of people makes for a great workout let alone getting to workout in the fresh air! when its warm enough!. Could not recommend it more highly!
I've been attending Fighting Fit for a year now and it is absolutely fantastic. I enjoy the variety on offer, from kettle bells and military style circuits to boxing as I can get bored easily. Royston Heath is a beautiful place to workout, but it's also really great that there is an inside space for the sessions if the weather is bad. It means you have no excuses for not attending if it's a bit cold or wet outside. Aussie is a knowledgeable and supportive coach who goes the extra mile for his clients, and there is a supportive and friendly atmosphere at the classes. I was very hesitant about joining up, but it is one of the best things I've done. Not only have my strength and stamina increased a lot but I've also rekindled my love of exercise and met some really great people.
A welcoming, friendly gym. The staff are there to help and support you, whether you are a comolete beginner or gym regular. Programs are tailored to your individual needs and expectations.
An amazing fitness community lead by Dave. Everyone is made to feel so welcome and the support and advice is excellent. I took part in a 60 day fitness and nutrition bootcamp from March till May and achieved fantastic results all because of the experience, knowledge and support from Dave and the fitness community he has created here. It wasn't just a bootcamp it was the beginning of a lifestyle change and I haven't looked back. You will be in very safe hands here be whether your novice, intermediate or advanced in your fitness this is the place to be!
Aussie was very friendly, finding out our levels of fitness and tailoring the session to our needs. My partner is a lot fitter than I and has been a couple of times before whereas I haven't exercised properly in 5 years and have various joint problems but we both managed to get what we wanted from the session. There were several exercises I couldn't do, but Aussie just gave me different ones to do, that I could manage, and adapted others to suit me so I didn't get left out or fall behind. He also made sure that I understood what I was expected to do for each exercise, which several other classes I have been to have assumed or expected me to pick up by watching. Having these experiences has left me wary and very self conscious to these sessions as they often caused more injury than good, but after Friday this is a class I WILL be going to again!!
I have been going to this gym for about a month now and I'm really glad I decided to. The staff and people are really friendly and welcoming. A nice family atmosphere.
I have been there since 2014 and I still love it as much now as I did when I first started, it's a brilliant place to workout and I found friends on the way!!
Really good group fitness with loads of variety each session with the added bonus of being outside when it's good weather and inside when it's not!
