I’m truly grateful and impressed with the work that Fields did for me with helping to recover all the data from my hard drive and also for the effort they put in to delivering a good customer service.  My external hard drive broke when it started making a ticking noise and I chose Fields hoping that they could recover my data. They managed to recover 95% of my data and also retain the file structure of my hard drive. No corrupt files as well.  I would also applaud the payment process, as they send you proof of the recovered data before you have to commit to paying.  Customer service was excellent as I never had any issues getting through to someone over the phone. I was apprehensive about sending my hard drive through the post but the delivery service was perfect as it was fully trackable and they had a specialist service meaning it was a direct pickup and return. They recovered my data straight away and I even received shipping notifications when they sent it back to me and calls to check I had received it.  Main downside is the prices seemed higher than advertised on the website but recovering my data is priceless and I can’t fault anything about their service.  Many thanks again to Fields

One of my spin drives failed during lockdown from the extra use with working from home. This drive had alot of my personal family photos on it. I tried recovering it myself using software however it was a failure of a read/write head on the spin drive. Field Data Recovery recovered majority if not all of my data and were very professional in their processes in doing so.  The only downside is the price felt a little extreme, but it was a 4TB hard drive, and they were memories I want to keep. No longer using spin drives and have cloud storage to stop this from ever happening again. Thanks Field Data Recovery.

I contacted Fields Data Recovery when my hard drive crashed taking with it about two years of research and other work on a book I am writing. I have to say it was heart breaking when I discovered I had been under the mistaken impression it was backed up.  When I spoke to the company I felt reassured by their professional approach and clear instruction.  They succeeded in recovering all my data within about a week and you can imagine my relief and joy.  It wasn't cheap but for me it was worth it to  recover my data.  While on the whole they were very helpful an area I found difficult was downloading the recovered data back to my computer with its new hard drive. Not being very tech savvy it seemed very complicated and I could have done with a bit more help.   That said, I am very pleased with the service provided by Fields who clearly have the the expertise and the equipment in this area. Thank you.

Absolutely worth the money. Recovered the vast majority of data lost when an external hard drive broke something to do with the reader unit wearing out or braking. It was a combination of work data and famiy data like photos, so incredibly precious to me. I was kept informed of all the progress. The knackered hard drive was picked up from my house and whisked off. Regular emails informed me of progress, and  importantly, a report advising me what might be recovered was sent. I went ahead and paid for the recovery, and a drop-box style link allowed me to get back so much of my lost data. Highly recommend! If you need the data back, it is so worth the fee!

Excellent Service - We had a failure of a RAID 10 array made up of 4 drives, 2 were completly dead and one clicking away instead of reading data. Fields managed to save all our files and whilst not cheap data recover rarely is the process was excellent - we recieved a browsable list of recoverable files within a week and had a replacement drive with all our files on before the timeline linked to our payment option.  Can't recommend them more.

A game of 2 halves ... First half brilliant service from initial conversation understanding the problem to 2nd half- dreadful customer service after. I decided not to pay for any data recovery as they weren't able to identify any lost data to be recover - the only file list I was given was the list of the files already on the RAID. They returned my 4 drive RAID with only 2 of the Drives functioning. Despite phone calls to my accounts manager, promises of someone from the team who would return my call and an email to customer services remarkably they have gone quiet! - Im now have to but 2 new 6tb drives to replaced the damaged drives - one of which was only 1 week old!

Great, fast service that did everything it set out too. Price point was steeper than quoted initially but thats to be expected for quite serious data recovery from scratched drives. I had two drives that needed repairing and they were more than happy to offer a significant discount if I wished to do the other drive as well. #985200

Their only pay if we recover your data suddenly went out the window and changed to pay us £1000 because we need to re-build your hard drive, but if we are successful or not we keep all the money, they wasn't successful. We paid extra for a 1 weeks fast track services, got told after 2 weeks our files were corrupted and there was nothing they could do. Communication during the 2 weeks was poor, had to keep chasing them for an update, i wouldn't recommend these at all, steer clear.
