Fidra Fine Art is a jewel. The size, decoration and dimensions make you feel comfortable as soon as you enter the door. It is indeed remarkable how Alan Rae has managed to display such a variety of paintings and fine art in his gallery. As a bonus parking nearby is easy in Gullane!
Choosing art can be daunting. You can be inspired and fall in love by what you see, you can connect with an artist’s work, but if you’re like me, you need some guidance, some certainty that you’re making a great decision. Alan Rae of Fidra Fine Art is out on his own. His knowledge, passion and ability to bring art to life and give you direction is on another level.
Bought three pieces of art, gallery owner was incredibly helpful, polite & knowledgeable. Managed to source something we really wanted but not on show from one of the artists being exhibited. Many thanks, great experience.
