Fernandez Grillhouse is Loughborough’s casual dining restaurant suitable for everyone! Friends, Family, Couples and Child friendly too! Fernandez specialises in grilled, healthy and fresh food, including, steak, chicken, fish, lamb and some amazing veggie options too!

Dishes are cooked to each customers individual taste chosen from our very own Spicemeter! With the choice of Plain (without being too plain!) Lemon and Herbs, Gazebo (tomato based sauce with a little kick), Medium (warms your mouth without causing a fire), Hot (a heat wave of flavours bursting in your mouth) and Volcano Hot!!! (only for the bravest of the brave… or a dragon!)

Chicken is served in a in variety of wings, quarters, halves, wholes and butterfly breast. Steaks are available in various cuts and sizes to meet everybody’s needs from 80z-12oz Rumps, Fillets, Rib-Eye and Sirloins. A limited amount of fresh Fish is served daily, locally sourced, seasoned and grilled by our Chefs. Fernandez also serves burgers, pittas, wraps and salads, not forgetting our Special’s which includes our Lamb Chops and Fernandez Grillhouse’s Special 140z Special T-Bone and many more! All of our food is 100% Halal sourced by verified British HMC suppliers. We also offer platters perfect for sharing or if you’re really hungry! not forgetting our lil Fernandez (children’s) menu and amazing deserts menu too!

We celebrated the birthday of my daughter 2 adults and 3 children. The staff were very friendly, polite, and very patient with my children. The nachos portion was correct, they were crispy and the 3 sauces tasted good. The burgers are really small but they tasted good and the meat was very decent. My son's chicken tenders were delicious. The premises and the bathrooms are very clean. Thank you
When booking the table, the server very friendly and informative. He informed us of the location of the car park without us asking. On entering the restaraunt, it was very clean, we were served by Din and Rob and given a choice of tables. The menu was clearly explained to us, I can't fault the service at all. As we were waiting for our food, we were given regular updates. We ordered one Pepsi and one tap water, the tap water arrived in a bottle, with a glass containing ice. This was a really nice touch which is often overlooked. For the mains, we ordered the tenders and the beef burrito. We were very pleased with both choices. Again, Din and Rob regularly checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, I must say I can't fault this restaraunt at all. The service and food were both excellent.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Quick service. In terms of food, it's nice but nothing special. Somehow seemed to be slightly different, not as good as other Fernández I've been to. Strange, I know as they all should be the same. Was not to keen on burgers, everything else was all right.
we ordered food to takeaway, the order was wrong no biggie however the food was stone cold - we only live 2 minutes down the road and the food was very well wrapped so it should not have been stone cold - we had 2 loaded fries, a spicy chicken burger and a BBQ beef burrito - might have been nice if even slightly warmFood: 1/5
Food is lovely and fresh. The prices are amazing. Me and my partner had burritos, chips, mayo and drinks for under 15 pounds. Great atmosphere and staff really friendly. Definitely will be going back again.Food: 5/5
Honestly the worst restaurant I have personally ever been to. The manager or the boss not sure - guy with beard and glasses and black shirt was arguing and shouting at all the staff, even the poor girl serving the customers who was the only good thing about this experience. The way he was speaking to her was appalling when she was only asking questions and to do all of this infront of customers is so unprofessional. Took a trip up north to get away for the weekend and this restaurant really started it poorly. Was expecting good things from the review but was so poor we actually laughed about it. Wrap was frozen cold and had no seasoning on, was offered no sauce so was dry as anything. The male server just put our food down without saying a word after taking it to the wrong table and walked away before we could ask for any sauces or anything. When I informed the manager he offered to make another one, but I was so over the whole thing by that point I couldn’t be bothered so left hungrier than I came in. The Mac and cheese wow it honestly looked like microwaved pasta and was supposed to have spicy sauce on, but there was no flavour apart from hard dry pasta. No spicy rice with my meal, was offered fries last minute and the food took over an hour to arrive. Luckily my wrap was refunded but I have personally never been to a restaurant so poor before and have never experienced something so bad like that to even write a review, but something needs to be done.
Genuinely such incredible food and service and student discount! The vibe of the restricted is fantastic as well we are big fans the spicy chicken sizzler is top tier
Decided to eat here whilst visiting son at Loughborough University. We were seated straight away, it has a very nice atmosphere, the food was lovely, and the pricing was reasonable. We will definitely visit again.
The food here taste great, the staff are very welcoming. They do a big feast here which has so much variety, There burgers are very good too you can tell there freshly made not frozen. Great desserts too
