A very impressive department store with a huge range of goods, well laid out and easy to locate. A range of places to sit for a while and have a coffee but the terrace is the best for that. Every member of their team was helpful attentive and highly knowledgeable. Loved it so much we went twice on this trip.
Enjoyed cake and coffee in the cafe downstairs. I was fascinated by the variety of chrisps / potato chips. Good variety of quality articles throughout the store.
Always the most amazing experience. Food in their coffee shop always a must when we get there! I could and would spend all day in here!!!
We had two visits to Fenwick's; the first was for breakfast where we had a nice cappuccino and almond croissant. the second time was to explore the Food Hall - which is amazing. Obviously, it has high end prices but some of the food there was just incredible not only to gawk at but also to buy. I recommend the carrot cheesecake and some of the savoury pies. It's a welcome haven in the hustle and bustle of the city centre
This is a review for the new Barbour Tea & Toastie Cafe. Firstly, the design of the Cafe is fantastic; well done to Tom and the team at JBH Design in Blyth for the job they did with this venue. Unfortunately the produce left a lot to be desired, especially the prices! We ordered 2 coffees, which were warm, not hot, and the £10 North Sea Scran toastie to share. As you can see from the photo the amount of filling was pathetic and remember this is £10!!!! My complaint was handled perfectly by the manager and a replacement, with an acceptable amount of filling was provided. Also, the way the item was presented doesn't give the feel of a quality product, why not add a little salad and some crisps??? This is a £10 item! Lastly the staff were great, very professional and friendly. But please Barbour and Fenwick get your product right!
I recently went down to Fenwick to browse their latest fashion in both men and womens’ section. I was assisted by their personal shop team and stylists, who were of high standard and provided top-of-the-range customer service. Their sharp knowledge and experience of fashion is also a highlight that made the trip worthwhile. I would highly recommend coming for a personal shop experience in this department store.
Fenwick Newcastle is a renowned department store that offers a luxurious shopping experience in the heart of the city. Known for its high-quality products, the store features a wide range of brands across fashion, beauty, homeware, and gourmet food. Customers appreciate the elegant atmosphere and attentive service, which add to the overall experience. The beauty department is particularly praised for its extensive selection of cosmetics and skincare products, often featuring exclusive brands. The food hall is a highlight, offering delicious treats and gourmet products, making it a perfect spot for food lovers. However, some shoppers have noted that prices can be quite high compared to other retailers. Overall, Fenwick Newcastle stands out for its quality and service, making it a great destination for those looking for a premium shopping experience.
Great friendly shop! The beauty section downstairs is massive and each counter has very polite staff! Shout out to Charlotte on the Guerlain counter, she was incredibly helpful, generous, and nice! Heads up however, there's no phone signal here so if your wife is coming here, she'll be gone!
What an experience this shop is. It prides its self on quality and service. The open space within the store is a pleasure. Where 99% of other stores have crammed as much as they can into the foot print of the building. Fenwick are an exception and need to be congratulated for their efforts. I take my hat off to you.
A review for Tom at the Boss store. Very helpful and polite. Way better than the chubby fella with glasses and the manger who often look at me like a tea leaf. This review is for boss only as fenwicks as a whole has gone down hill. Full of overpriced tat made by nobody's. Get with the plan fenwicks family, or its another Debenhams in the making.
