A message to Fenland councillors. The villagers and residents of Wimblington already have large housing developments going ahead.nnNow villagers here of a proposed development of a mix of 8 bungalows and 8 houses crammed into the centre of Wimblington Village with access from the narrow Morely Way.nnLocal residents are appalled by this prosed planning application. Councillors please THINK about close by residents, the upheaval to quality of like to these residents. Its also adjacent to green space with dog walkers letting there well behaved dogs run. An accident waiting to happen with construction vehicles.nnHow about the flooding risks. How about the village infrastructure which is non existent such as food shops, transport links.nnThis proposed development is nothing to do with the housing crises as already Wimblington has large developments underway.nnHow would Fenland councillors like it if they right next to this proposed development?
This place is Terrible! They don’t help you very much nor do they care that much... some staff there are very rude as well when you ask for some help they treat you like you should know everythingnThey put disabled people in poor properties that has mold and asbestos in it! See photos and you will see how bad it is...!!!
Fenland Council have it all wrapped up, don't they? We wanted an extra brown bin which we had to pay for at a cost of £30....then pay for it to be collected at a cost of £40, even though we are already 5 months through the year. It seems that in these modern times, Fenland Council don't have the ability to adjust costs pro rata. So, we've been forced to pay for a year but only get 7 months service. Wonderful money making scam by the council and to make it worse, even though we had to buy the bin, it isn't ours...what a con....
I wish i could give this council no stars. But i have to give one just to post this comment. This council is the worst council i have ever experienced in my life. I tried to get help caring for my elderly grandmother. Instead of supporting me , fenland council interrogated me and my grandmother.nMy grandmother then broke her hip and i became homeless as a result of not being able to care for her any more. Fenland Council were terrible yet again and refused to help me. Belittling me and treating me like more of an enemy than a client. Fenland Council worst council ever. Also wrote to the MP. no help whatsoever.
Absolutely woeful in every way. I have spent the entire morning trying to speak to someone, but been sent round in circles and circles and circles, consistently hung up on by the automated services, to call back and go through the same circles. The county don't want you to speak to anyone, which is why they don't advertise their number online, and if your lucky enough to have found the number by this review, be prepared for a large spiders web of phone options that all lead to dead ends and call terminations. You cannot speak to ANYONE within this awful council.
