Machines don't work avoid at all costs won't explain why you will end up with a £60 fine. Darlington local authority should be ashamed of themselves.
This is a good parking facility close to the centre of Darlington city centre and for the cinema.nOnly thing that lets it down is the rubbish in the car park, which isn't the fault of the council.
Parking is free from 6pm to 8am. I parked at 5pm and left just before 8am an it cost me £1. As with all parking carry cash and a card an even download an app. That’s parking everywhere. You do need to pay for the barrier to open to exit. Exit on an upper floor. 2 minute walk to the premier inn. An 2 minutes to the town.
Worse car park,the machine wasn’t working,I finally was able to pay after getting help from about of people at the car park but the machine didn’t add my vehicle registration,I was debited and got a ticket and was still fined 60pounds,these people are absolute thieves and just out there to scam you. Avoid them at all costs
This car park is fantastic. This is a council controlled car park. THIS IS NOT THE EXCEL CAR PARK UNDER THE CINEMA.nnThis car park you drive up to the barrier, get your ticket and drive in. I believe there is 5 floors of parking, there is ample EV charging spaces, large volumes of disabled parking which is situated on the level that means no stairs or lifts required to leave. Car park is built on a hill so you enter on level -1 and exit on level 0.nnParking is at a fair price £1.20 an hour i think? Approx £5/6 all day and is conveniently placed for the town centre from the north side exits or the cinema on the south side. Finally you pay on exit meaning you don't over pay for any parking. You just pay for what you use.
