So far over a week I've waited for a parcel, everyday has been delivery by said time, then a no show, being lied to by the customer service reps when you actually get hold of a human also got told to go to the depot to pick up the parcel myself, no thanks, I didnt pay nearly 20 quid for the fed ex experience. Excited to see the state of the parcel if I ever do receive it.
Big thank you to George Sweatman from Fedex Llantrisant Depot... absolutely amazing human being went above and beyond to help me out!nnSo I had arranged a Fedex Express delivery to deliver a set of alloys, made sure everything was in guidelines dimensions, weight etc and paid extra for next day etc. Then the instructions following were to take the parcels to a Fedex drop off point to have the QR code scanned and a label printed.. sounds simple enough so off I pop to the nearest drop off point to be told they couldn't accept my parcel as they had no space in the convenience store.. abit puzzled I was like ok what do I do now? They advised me to go to another store, so I was like fair enough drove to another store few miles away.. just to be told the same thing, parcels to big and no space?! Was starting to get agitated at this point explained to them that its within size and weight and they were a designated Fedex dropoff point but they were having none of it. Left me with no choice but to look for another 'so called' drop off point decided to pick petrol station thinking yeh they would have more space.. same thing again. At this point ngl I was pissed I wanted to make sure the alloys get collected and delivered as promised as the person buying them had paid me in full with no hesitation.nSo I decided 'fcuk it' I will go to an actual Fedex depot and explained the situation, they said they can take my parcel if it had delivery labels. I showed them my email with the QR code and they tried their best to scan and get labels for me, but unfortunately the code could only be scanned at participating Fedex dropoff stores. George even asked for me to email him to see if he could print off and scan incase it was a phone screen issue but no joy.. he then said he would email head office and see if he can get labels for me etc. I then suggested il try another local dropoff point and see as a last ditch attempt he said he would call me later to see how I got on.nSo off I pop to a Gulf service station that was another official Dropoff point and there I thought success he scanned one of the alloys slapped a label on it and put it to the side, I was like hold on il grab the rest.. at this point the guy made a face and said il need to speak to my manager..nManager comes out and tells me he cant take the other parcels as they didnt have space I looked around seen a big stock room and was like can you not out them in there? They will collect first thing in the morning as I paid for express, he then told me about fire hazard etc... at this point I had reached the point of its not going to get resolved il just wait for labels to come from headoffice and drop off at the big depot. I asked for my alloy that they scanned back and they said no...nNow my patience at reached its end started to kickoff saying you cant leave me with 3 bloomin alloys it dont make sense to take 1 of 4 parcels and leave 3, you either give me my wheel back or you take the lot..nWhilst the commotion was kicking off and me getting wound up.. I get a call from an unfamiliar number.. it was George! I explained to George I was now in a bigger mess than I was they had taken 1 wheel and not the others.. I asked if he would like to speak to the manager as a Fedex representative and see if he could talk sense in to him. But no he wasnt having none of it.. George then told me to wait 10mins..nI waited and there comes George with his scanner to resolve the situation, he got the shopkeeper to print off the labels so that he could take the parcels on behalf of Fedex.nTalk about going above and beyond George had literally finished work and drove his own personal car to collect my parcels for me off the clock.nNow thats customer service, im just so grateful that, there are still good people out there that are willing to help a complete stranger.nThank you! Thank you so much!
Had my package for over a week. Keeps updating saying it will be delivered but no attempt is being made. Absolutely useless service
Live local so called in today when automated customer services didn't work.A bit like Fort Knox to get in but very very helpful staff
poor service, I received a message that the parcel would be delivered between 8.40 a.m. and 12.40 p.m., they were late on the first day and there was no delivery at all, on the second day I was told that they found no one at home and they posted information on the front door where I can pick up the parcel, which is also a lie
