Beautiful public space. Great for dog walking, taking the kids for a kick about and mixing between the trees, looking for the wildlife. Squirrels a plenty! It has a fantastic cafe located at the back of the rec on the left, play parks for differing ages of children. A tennis club with plenty of courts and a bowls club with very favourable yearly membership prices. If you fancy a pint then there is the Market Inn on the corner. The fayre comes 3 maybe 4 times a year which brings fun and certainly frolics!
It’s a nice place to go if you are feeling down. It has big, old trees as tall as skyscrapers. It’s a wonderful spot to take your children. It has a child’s park for 3-5 year old and a park for older.nThe park for the older kids has a boarded off ground trampoline. A tall spinner thong is still in use but is also missing a few chairs. How ever this will not stop me changing my review.nn5 STARS.
I walk in Faversham Recreation Ground most days. It's a wonderful local amenity. There is a super takeaway coffee shop, HutHuts, if you want a break and great facilities for all ages including a mini skateboard park, a well equipped children's play area and outdoor exercise facilities. I never visit here without feeling the benefit of the fresh air and the walking !
Lovely park area with a really nice takeout drink/ ice cream/ snack stand very close by. Two parts to the playground area for different ages. Free parking, with few spaces but it did get busy. Toilets next to the car park.
It's a great little park. It’s got its own little cafe and toilets. Although I have never seen those toilets open, either they are, and it's not very obvious, or they built toilets that are never used. Otherwise, nice little place to take a stroll, walk the dogs, or let the kid burn off some of that untapped energy they never run out of.
