Having moved to Faversham within the last year, we are new to the practice. Unfortunately we have had to use the surgery a few times already and I am full of support for the service given. Doctors, clinicians and reception staff have all been very thorough and pleasant, despite what must be a very stressful job at times. Both my son and myself have been treated very well and as such I am minded to offset the low rating a few of the reviews here give. Many Thanks to All the staff at this practice, please keep doing the good work!

I had previously given a 5 star review, as staff had seemed helpful. I was told 2 weeks ago by a doctor that I'd get test results in 2 days (latest) as it was done in-house & straightforward testing. It got to 2 days later & I called the practice to see if I could get the results, I was told I'd need the doctor to relay the results to me (obviously meaning something isn't right!). The person I spoke to said they'd message the doctor to chase it up, the following week I still hadn't heard anything.. So phoned again & spoke to a different Receptionist who said they too would message the doctor, I called a few days after & was told the doctor isn't in on this day. So phoned again this week & I spoke to a very apologetic receptionist who said the other 2 people I spoke to messaged the doctor on a different system so he would try on another but said he should be in touch. That was 3 days ago & I still haven't heard anything. I think this is an appalling way to treat your patients, if there's anything abnormal with my test results I want to know! I just feel sorry for the admin staff having to make excuses for the doctors.

Just seen Damian at the minor injuries unit AND HE WAS AMAZING. Really professional, really knowledgeable, very thorough and personally arranged for continuing care through Canterbury’s hand therapy unit (nasty chisel accident). My experience here was wholly positive and very quick - I just wish that heroes at places like these got more credit.

First experience of a GP appointment here yesterday after moving into the area! Had medication that I've been on for over ten years changed with no discussion for me to call them today and be told to come down and a new prescription will be waiting. On arrival I was told that there was no new prescription and it will be not changed as it is the same medication just as a different name. Turns out the reason it was changed is due to the new medication being cheaper! The whole situation was unnecessary and frustrating when it could of been avoided just by treating me with some respect and having a discussion with me in the first place! Will be looking for a new GP and in the meantime will only go there if it's an emergency. Complaint letter also on the way to the them, not that I think it will be taken seriously!
