We are a small but perfectly formed Aquatic shop set in the beautiful surrounding of Castle Gardens, Sherborne, Dorset. Please take a look around our website (which we are still working on) or even better come and see us at our Awesome Little Shop.
Fat Fish Aquatics opened in May 2012 and is owned and run by Tom and Jane. The shop had been open since March 2009, the same time Jane started working for the previous owners. The shop grew from supplying pond goods to Japanese Koi and tropical aquarium fish. Tom joined the team in July 2011 and the shop continued to develop and grow.
When the owner decided to move the landscaping part of the company down to Cornwall we were given the opportunity to start our own shop which we jumped at. So with the help and support from Castle Gardens, Family and Friends Fat Fish Aquatics was born.
Since then we have really started to put our mark on the place. We have just opened our Marine Fish section with help from the very lovely people at TMC and we are now busy planning next year’s pond department.
