Lovely town with great history and lots of lovely places nearby to visit
Disgusted with this man working there, said my son could go through to help me, without a ticket obviously,nThen on his return after helping me he started shouting @ him asking were his ticket was & threatened him with a £100 finenShocking !!
Catching a train to Waterloo at 2.28 Saturday 4th June, I’d heard there may be rail strikes so popped to the ticket office to check. Really helpful, friendly chap in the office at just after 1pm assured me all was ok and advised that my ticket was flexible so I could grab the train just arriving that got me another hour to get across London for re second journey from St Pancras, Great service, thank you!
Very good service from the station sales & information staff. Very helpful printed my journey timetable, gave advice on off peak trains and total time of 1h 45min so I could plan my day. Also provided a leaflet on how to obtain a travelcard for the over 60 yr old. Friendly cafe inside the station.
Couldn't hear the tannoy from the waiting room which is on the platform so I missed the train. Don't care about double glazing lady don't live next to a train station
