Three things to know:nn1 - Convenient for town not so much the business park, exhibition centre or airport. Get a cab or 30 min Walknn2 - Long footbridge from the station to the Waterloo platform, there is a liftnn3 - Vending machine and snack bar at the station
Went to go enter after scanning my ticket got told another person has to check over my ticket online one then stares blankly when I show my railcard had to ask to leave and if I could go proceed onto the platform and made me late for my university lecture. Staff are rude there’s probably only one staff member who is decent and that depends on the day in the morning however the guy who works in the evening is nice no hassle. Don’t know why another person had to scan my ticket and check it once I had already been allowed past the barriers ? Found that quite rude. Don’t be surprised if the ticket guys at the barriers want to do a ‘surprise’ ticket check on you then make you late for your train. Worst staff.
Friday 3rd January 2025 heading to Dorset from Farnborough main station Very polite helpful young lad with dreads. Didn't catch his name but made a painful journey with lots of cancellations much easier thanks very much!
Staff are helpful and coffee shop is great. Parking is not very good at all. When you add in the code on the app it’s the wrong one. It’s the one for outside the Carpark? Don’t know if it was a glitch but it’s happened a few times.
