Best of the best cottage ever!!! Freshly made pie dish was huge and got complimentary gravy free. Amazing!
I ate twice here. Fish and chips was nice but next day I had calamari and I think I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Friendly staff. Really good food.
We were after a meatless salad which wasn't on the menu, but they were only too happy to put one together for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We were served with a fabulous salad of crunchy leaves, new potatoes, boiled eggs, beetroot, cucumber, tomatoes, pickled onions, red onions and topped with coleslaw. Then there was the warm French bread & real butter... Superb!!!
Wonderful place to visit, friendly staff, really nice food at decent price. Wide variety on their menu which I'll be trying out for sure. And finally best all day Breakfast around.
Disgusting attitude from the chef when my sister questioned her meal not being gluten free as requested. He blamed her for the hold up in service, if he can't handle doing gluten free the he should have said so. Instead of saying yes then not supplying it. She will never eat there again and neither will I! Honesty and manners cost nothing, both of these were sadly lacking at this establishment.
Unimposing eatery opposite bus station, but the food and service more than make up for this! Really good home cooking - nothing greasy or reheated. Excellent value! Good for families or solo eating.
Had a really excellent dinner here. Restaurant sells exactly the seafood dishes you'd expect from the location. We had the admirals pie which was the best seafood pie I've had and great value. Definitely recommend!
Good honest home cooked food, catering for food awkward people like me! Has an ice cream parlour with waffles made to order, good possition on a busy traditional seafront stretch, which has other interesting places to visit including a 150 year pub with impressive beamed façade. You won't be disappointed if you have the chance to stop.
Amazing food!!! We always look forward to eating here!!! Very friendly staff who go out of their way to accommodate different tastes!!!
