Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will.
Beefeater believe in two things, a warm friendly welcome and serving incredible steak that you can kick back, relax and enjoy. As good as ever. Impressed with the Covid-19 sheets handed to us on entry and verbal follow up. Our waitress Lauren was very helpful and the food was great. Always a good experience here.
Good social distancing. Generous portions hot and tasty. Would go there again.
Service was good and environment clean and nice. Food wasn't terrible but very over priced for what it was - not sure if prices were inflated to take into account the Eat out in August scheme. If I had had to pay full price I would have been well cheesed off.
Covid reduced menu. Poached eggs are off the breakfast menu, presumably because of covid. Waitress unable to explain since you can have all other cooked breakfast items. Food is ok for a Beefeater.
Beautiful fish and chips batter very light ..had a bit of a wait but cooked from fresh so well worth it ...
Good menu choices, nice surroundings with good attention from waiter, although we did have to wait longer than we liked for our main courses
