We called first, however it was walk-ins only, so we just pitched-up at about 7pm with the dog. It was pretty busy with all sorts of customers, and dogs, which was great....we found a table in the garden. There are menus on each table, and each table was clearly numbered, so a quick walk back to the bar to place our order and the world was good!! Really friendly, helpful staff, and within minutes our order was on the table....a wonderful Thai green curry, and a Greek lamb kofti.....both were beautiful, and the Greek salad was the real thing, so we were well pleased!!! Lovely food and great staff...boom!!!
Great small local pub for drinking and pool. Food served but some tables are crowded by people stood up drinking if you don't mind that. Hubby and I both had chicken burgers for our dinner. His was cooked nicely but mine was very dry. The food did taste good though.
No bookings taken, so went to see if we could get a table, it was full says it all, wait for about 5 mins and a table became available, I ordered steak and my partner had lamb kodi, absolutely beautiful food and the wait was not long at all, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, cant wait to go back
OMG what a place ... it has to be the most welcoming place we have had Sunday lunch . We took our westie and scottie and we all enjoyed one fantastic Sunday roast. The staff were super polite and could do more for you if they tried.
Loved everything about this pub. Good food, good drinks and at good prices. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. There is no parking. They have live entertainment here, dogs are allowed and the beer garden is a nice sun trap. Toilets are nice and clean. Would definitely come back here for a visit.
Booked in for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed, very nice. We ordered 2 roast beef lunches with cauliflower cheese extra and, fish and chips for our little man. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only negative was we were seated in a small part of the pub with 2 larger families so it was a little cosy especially with our dog.
A great old pub-feeling pub. Lots of little snugs and a multi-leveled, three sided bar. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Personally i have not yet tried the food but I know they have a very no-nonsence and straightforward pub grub menu with occasional home cooked specials. I thoroughly recommend a visit.
Had lunch here today. Service was fast and friendly. We had 2 portions of the veggie curry which was very tasty, however the portion could have been bigger as it was very small and wasn't very hot Veggie burger was good.
Lovely cosy little pub in the centre of St. Davids. Staff really friendly and we loved our table by the log burner
Great pub, good beer, food, atmosphere and staff
