Was good when it first opened.  Had their own dancers who added some entertainment but they seem to be no more.    Music very hit and miss, mainly miss.

We booked our wedding reception at "The Gatsby Club" as the venue looked classy & the name fit perfectly with our wedding theme.
Dale & Andrew promised us the world, it was a good fit as they don't have any trade during the times of our wedding reception so offered free room hire based on our guests spending on the bar. (Our guests like wine, lots of wine)
Excited we wrote a guest list & sent out invites, to our guests coming from all over the UK giving them time to book the day off work, arrange travel & book accommodation close to the venue.
After a week we started to feel un easy as we were promised pictures of previous wedding set ups, which never materialised.
We were also promised the names & links of bands & a pianist that they recommended, again never arrived.
We then noticed the Facebook name had changed to Fanny & Bacardi, we didn't over think it as there was still a Gatsby Lounge Facebook page.
The following week we started seeing advertisements for topless waiters & drag queens & £10 wrist bands for unlimited drinks, not as classy as the venue originally stated but again as long as our wedding was ok we weren't overly bothered.
Then the website changed & the Gatsby Lounge Facebook name changed. We weren't informed by the owners of this change.
We contacted the owners asking for answers & expressing our upset that we'd sent out invites & now there was no trace of the Gatsby we had booked & put on the invites.
The owners then decided to go into a rage at us saying Gatsby wasn't working & they were going to go out of business! 
It's my wedding day & I refuse to have my reception at a place named after female genitals.
The owners have been so un professional & rude saying we were going to contact you & offer free fizz.... Which again never happened, we had to contact them after finding out on social media.
My advise is go to this club if you want a cheap tacky night out, but don't trust these people with any type of special event for you let alone the biggest day in a couple's lives.
I'm now trying to secure another venue hopefully in Wakefield & contact all my guests to let them know.

What am amazing place, the staff are brilliant had such a friendly buzz about it and music wahoooo..

When I asked the gentleman working behind the bar for a glass of tap water he simply said 'we don't do it' so I had to pay for bottled water. Absolutely disgraceful customer service and against the law for failing to provide free tap water!

Great place to spend your time , having fun with your friends , dancing, drinking and talking till late in the morning!
