The 4 of us had a lovely experience in this newly refurbished and re-established pub. Very covid conscious, great beverage selection, food simple but absolutely blooming fabulous! Quality food, fresh, tasty and piping hot! If you continue with such high standards we'll deffo continue to support and recommend!
the Sunday roast is perfect so yummy
New management and three staff members offered to help us as soon as we walked in. Great service! Nice drinks, lovely building, heaters in the beer garden and tasty looking menu. Recommend!
Although this restaurant is 500+ years old, it’s a comfortable place to stay with my friend. Extremely love this kind of historical refurbished building
Claims of Fame, Virgins and Castle somewhat exaggerated. Beer cold, service friendly. It would not be a porky pie, to suggest that the pork pie could be fresher and my suggestion served warm/hot - so much more flavoursome. Try it.
Very friendly and professional staff, food was great too! They have put in good measures for coronavirus which makes you feel confident about visiting. Would recommend!
