Nice marinade chicken with good fresh salad and tasty rice/buckwheat but unfortunately my partners meatballs mean were not homemade and like what you would get in a tin. If they had made their own...Then it would be 5 out of 5
For the third time I've eaten here. In a very unassuming location it is I think one of a kind in here in Leeds. I've taken friends each time and they've enjoyed it. It's nice for something different to the usual choices in Leeds. The front of house is as far as I can tell, also the chef and waiter which he seems to casually pull off. The food has a fresh taste and style which pays homage to family meals and homely Lebanese cooking. The mezze are good sizes with the plates being sometimes more filling than the main. The portions are reasonable sizes and good value. I'll certainly eat here again, it's good for a relaxed evening in a quiet restauru and something different.
Not the most salubrious of locations, but once you're inside it's a great place. Service was attentive, vegetarian meze was marvellous, and we even took a box of leftovers home. Only marginal downside was the cost of the drinks, but most Leeds restaurants are expensive that way anyway, so it wasn't unexpected. Highly recommended.
The food has always been excellent. I've been a number of times, and I've always enjoyed the dishes; the price does tend to stack up though.... The guy is a great host too. Definitely one to visit!
Absolutely amazing food for a good price. Anyone looking for proper and authentic food, in an atmospheric restaurant should come here. Perfect for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Not a place you should miss!
Place was cold, got my main course order wrong, missed one item ordered and everything came out separately when asked for it together. Gf had finished before I'd even got my second/proper main. Quirky place and reasonable prices but means nothing if they can't even get your order right! Piss poor!
If you know about Lebanese food you will know that this restaurant is below average. The mezze starters definitely have tinned food, bread is just off shelf pitta. The main dish is not well presented, just plain rice ! and meat kofta is super salty. Not impressed at all !
Food wasn't too bad but too expensive for what we got. Everything was very tired, restaurant was dirty, toilets were disgusting and the waiter who was very attentive looked as though he had slept in the clothes he was wearing. Chewing gum under the table also!! Not pleasant and wouldn't recommend at all!!
This place is like nowhere else I've ever eaten. It is decorated like an oversized 70's living room... But the food was excellent!
cheap, amazing food, amazing environement with great music and heating - i wish i took a picture of the chicken shawarma i had but it was so delicious i ate it too quickly
