Beautiful place for a visit to the seaside. The Lake Cafe, now fully refurbished, serves tasty food and ice cream. Dog owners are now instructed to keep them on a lead but this isn't a problem as the is plenty of opportunities to let them have a good run on the nearby beach. There are very good facilities for children in the play areas and also the usual park pursuits such as bowls, tennis and putting plus the lake itself for boating. It is a shame that the toilets require a 20p payment, especially as we use less and less cash in our daily lives. A photo of the lake and the beach at high tide just over the sea wall.
Beautiful perfect place for family and friend meet ups .the lake has lots to offer and the ducks are beautiful
Great place for all ages. The new tennis courts and mini golf are a great addition. Kids play area is also very good. Better food and drink options is the only thing missing.
Lovely for a walk with the family with a good playground, the ice cream from the cabin on the car park is really tasty! Not many people park in the huge, newly renovated car park because it’s so expensive so everyone parks on the street!
Great little cafe/restaurant situated at Fairhaven Lake , has a great little outdoor section where you can sit with your Dogs , kids play park on site too and only a second from the boating lake , there is a pay and park carpark near the lake but if your lucky there are spots on the main road to park for free .
Walked along front from St Anne's. Took about 25 minutes stroll. View of dunes and sea. Easy path. Lake quiet RSPB wildlife shop, information centre. Staff helpful. Bought a few toy birds for grandchildren
Lovely place to visit. Nice walk around the lake. Also a good place to have a picnic. Lots of dog walkers. Only negative is that people don't respect the local area and lake and keep their dogs loose.
Lovely bit of peace and quiet! Boating lake is fab! Nice lads working there boats too. £8 for 20 minute motorboat. Grandson loved it and he's autistic x
A lovely facility to walk around. Right by the sea as well. Has a cafe and an RSPB outlet. You can also buy coffee and ice creams at the kiosk. If your that way inclined you can even hire some form of waterborne vehicle. The Pavillion restaurant comes well recommend.
Absolutely lovely walked around lake to where you can use the cafe which had lots of nice things on offer for you to enjoy while sitting and enjoying the view of the lake fabulous!!!
