So, my wife had the unfortunate experience yesterday, the drivers spring collapse as she was leaving the house, tried calling a dozen places and no one wanted to assist, drove to the car down the road and came across these guys buy chance and it was fixed and sorted within the same afternoon and price and service was good. Will definitely be back for general services and mot. Good bunch of lads in the shop.
Fantastic service. Went in for an MOT. Car needed 4 new tyres, full new brakes, turbo fixed, exhaust repaired and a new water pump. All fixed for £150. Paddy was the best. Such friendliness. Amazing, will always recommend this garage to others and my friends. Fair deal autos = fantastic deal mechanics
Excellent! Was worried that a garage that offers repairs for this price would be shoddy but the work is up there with the best. If you want your car to be looked at first though you need to drop off first thing int morning so don't expect to show up and go straight the front of the queue. Highly recommended both Bathgate and Edinburgh branches.
I have used Fairdeal Autos in Bathgate various times now and would highly recommend them. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the manager Jamie is one of the easiest people to deal with and he always gives you an honest clear understanding report about your car. Fitted two front tyre to my car. The price was unbeatable and quick service too. Only problem is they recommended a /40 tyre as a replacement of my old /50 tyres. It caused issues with my tracking control and the nose of my car hitting speed ramps since. I can not complain as athe price was very good but please don't recommend different diameter tyres as a replacement as modern cars with tracking control does not like that.
Had my car in, the service was amazing, lovely staff was treated in a professional manner at all times! Great prices and my car is working perfectly now! Totally recommend to anyone!!
Not the first time had issues with them, but giving them the benefit. Last June took one of my cars there, for an mot test. They showed up with a quote for around £350. Rear suspension arms, Cv joint boots were bursted they said, Took the car to my mechanic which was quite surprised cause the rear suspension arms were solid as rock. Took the car there for them to explain me what was the issue, just in case they messed upcan happen to anyone. When arriving there, they tried to throw sand to my eyes saying that at the time of the mot there was a play on both sides, although less than 20 miles after apparently my car repaired itself. Took the car back to my mechanic so the front cv boots could be replaced and for my surprise my mechanic calls me back saying that there was some oil on the cv boots only the inner but they were not bursted and that the car would pass first time. Wich on the retest done by a different tester, everything was OK. Total spent: £5 on grease as the cv joints have been cleaned and grease replacedwas already open. Today I am regretting not made a formal complaint to dvsa straight away after that. Now giving them the benefit, decided to take other of my cars there. Car didn't passed, again rear suspension arm, one of the side front lights and a tyre. Fair enough... As this time the noted parts were in fact faulty and there was a slight play on the rear suspension arm. Obviously I could not leave without telling him that if there was something wrong with this mot I would complain about them straight away. Now they as they have been caught, they are making doing a retest almost impossible and being arrogant. Don't go there, they are stealing people. Unfortunately is not possible to give them negative stars, if yes I would do it.
Took my car for a new tyre £55 .00 on coming out the garage I heard a noise so I took it bk .they advised me I had a broken spring .which didn't make the noise before hand .I had my car checked the Friday before in another garage there was no broken spring .the tyre had went down every single day so he then .went into the garage sat pressed the bell and was completely blanked ..the tyre still.going down need to go to calmer tomx to see what cowboy work they have done ..and get it fixed a formal complaint will follow my broken spring absolute joke won't be using again. .... go to a high standard garage cheap isn't always the way .AVOID AVOID AVOID the so called manager was also very rude .needs some customer service training
Bad service. Trying to argue that their budget £60 tyres are better for grip and safety than the £155 Michelins offered by another garage. I bought them anyway as I was about to PX the car. Worst tyres ever, struggled going round roundabouts in moist conditions. Scratched my two front alloys when the changed the tyres. I asked to keep the two tyres which came off To give to a mate who does track days etc They purposefully used their tyre valve cutting knife to damage the tyres rendering them unusable. The guys who work there are Cowboys plain and simple. Avoid this garage at all costs!!!!! In response to "Manager". This was a while ago June/July 2010 the car was a Grey Ford Focus ST reg SK57 N** Tyres were 225/40R18 in size You won't find any details under my name as I never give it to anyone when asked unless it's essential.
DO NOT GO TO THIS GARAGE came here for mot and they tried to say my car failed and that I needed £180 work to do to my car and I knew they were not right because I had somebody I know look at it prior my visit so I took my car out of the garage went to other one and it PASSED FIRST TIME with no advisory also the mechanic tried to argue with me about the car saying it made a noise I think I should know my own car overall avoid this garage unless you want to be robbed of your money.
