A great store for all haberdashery needs! Lots of fabrics that are labelled so easy to find. Prices are good. Well worth a visit if you're nearby. The staff are very helpful also.
Used Abakhan many times over the years, and they have a wide range of goods. Went in the other day to buy a reel of adhesive hem tape 99p...offered my cash and was told ," card only" I won't give my cusom to any business that refuses cash and insists on card payment. If you don't make a stand over this, we will lose cash and become a cashless society,with all the dangers that come with that, like every penny you spend every place you go,is recorded somewhere,and is available for use by any official body that says" we need to have that information for the publics safety and if you have no ill intentions you have nothing to fear...I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all,but this is the thin end of the wedge. Paying by card for 99p??.No,not having it,will not be using this business again
Love popping in here. Only a little compact shop but full of items to buy at not bad prices. Always get a bargain here

Great for crafting, especially fabrics, wools and threads. Can get pricey but shop wisely and it's good value. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.
