Great experience from a very amateur sewists point of view - an excellent range of fabrics and easy shopping. Becky behind the counter was particularly helpful in providing her expertise in regards to which fabric I'd need and how much.
The staff working there are so rude and make you feel very uncomfortable. The shop itself has so much stuff and looks amazing but the girls working there are just incredibly rude and disrespectful. When we walked in they were just chatting and laughing but we brought what we needed and left. We then went back after finding the needle was faulty they had sold us. We asked for a refund as the needles they recommended us did not work and finally after arguing with them and showing them the faulty product, this girl scoffed and said sarcastically "fine I'll refund you your £1.12 I guess". She proceeded to have a attitude with us making us feel extremely belittled and uncomfortable. We left as quick as we could.
Rude person serving who told my nearly 2 year old grandson off for grabbing fabric roll after she served us . I was gonna buy more fabric but quickly changed my mind . But now reading recent reviews I can see she just wasn’t having a bad day . Very bad customer service not helpful it’s a shame because I have always used fabric land . Great fabrics but customer service needs working on I will be going to Hobbycraft next time
It's a lovely shop that got everything. My wife is looking for her sewing passion. The #staff is quite rude and unhelpful. My wife feels so uncomfortable when we go there. Maybe it's just the way we look to make them behave like that. I have witnessed them serving other customers with nice tone and great service. My wife didn't want to go there anymore. It was a very bad service.
Nice choice of fabric but the staff are rude. When asked for help, the girl I spoke to today couldn't wait to get back on her phone. No help or advice given at all, just plenty of attitude.

I bought some denim in January and had lots left after my project so decided to make some Denim trousers, I am a small amount short and just need 50cm. I was unable to find a match, Zoe took a sample and is sending around the other shops to see if I can get a close match. What excellent service I have received.
The range of fabrics was amazing, the two !! floors are stacked floor to ceiling with different colours, textures and weights. Prices ranged from 1.59/m for some clearance cotton to about 7.99/m for cotton velvet. Fabrics are beautiful quality. The staff there really know their stuff and aren't rude at all like listed in previous comments - just need to read the signs that say what to do e.g. about not being fabric down etc. I was sewing stretch for the first time and the lady at the till was so nice talking me through the different needles I could get for my machine.
I recently popped in there for some advice, and I have to say that I was really impressed with the customer service. Even though I wasn't actually buying anything at the time, the staff went out of their way to help me out and provide some great advice. They were friendly, approachable, and really knowledgeable about their products.
