Never had an issue personally, and have always been treated well whenever i have visited. offices appear clean and inviting and well staffed. I do have a few comments, 1) i agree with another poster on the comment made about the students - there is not enough social housing and too much is being given to students instead so the balance is not quite right in my opinion - especially when historic Exeter buildings are being pulled down to develop new buildings - i am all for growth but the residents of Exeter deserve a slice of the cake 2) i am not a fan of the automated phone service as sometimes you can end up anywhere and 3) the disabled parking is lacking - there is space for two cars but any spare space available is marked off in white lines with just the one space in the middle which seems silly. Considering what ECC have to work with i feel that they overall do a good job, and i enjoy living in Exeter.

I posted as an observation that public footpaths around the back of Belle Isle Lodge resembled a swamp this was due to a blocked drain causing the pathway to flood for about fifteen feet to a depth of about a foot making it impassable on several occasions. No reply or action from Exeter City Council. I followed it up with a "complaint" about the same thing - No or action from Exeter City Council path still covered in mud, drain still blocked. Amazingly the wall along the side of the path is the wall to the Exeter City Council yard they don't even need transport to get there so the cost pales into insignificance compared to moving the Police Commissioners Office both projects of which I would be contributing Council Tax towards. No delay in getting them out was there!
