Everything was absolutely wonderful. Location is perfect, the bed was especially comfortable, and the croissants delicious. Emma went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed for the most restful and delightful weekend, she’s lovely!
This cafe is in the back and it is in a beautiful setting where you can sit and let the time standstill. Decent food options and coffee. Very friendly service. Vegetarian options: They have toast and lots of baked items to satisfy your sweet tooth.
The café is in a peaceful backyard. They offer a selection of local ales, pastries, coffees and ice cream. Great after a long walk through the nature reserve.
Quiche, fresh coleslaw and salad advertised,was handed through a window and order shouted for collection. No salad, coleslaw warm and out of a tub inedible, checked we had read the menu correctly, we had. Plastic cutlery, plastic glass and paper cups. People clearing own tables. Dead flowers in vases, just throw them away and don’t bother if you can’t maintain. On reflection should have returned it all and asked for refund. Go to the grab and go in the visitor centres. This cafe is not part of the park.
Thoroughly enjoyed our week-long sojourn at the Farmhouse. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, rooms were clean and charming with thoughtful touches, and the common facilities were great. Wifi is limited but it is a nice way to disconnect! Breakfast was excellent on most days as well. Easy access to the Seven Sisters Country Park, Eastbourne and Seaford. Would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again soon!
If your looking for a romantic or large group get away - Saltmarsh Cafe & Rooms is the place to be. Amazing service, great rooms and food. This experience sits on the doorstep of welcoming gardens, White Cliffs and Country Park of Seven Sisters, also Friston Forest: personifying the unique character of the owners and staff. We will definitely be back!
Nice cute little coffee place right behind the bus stop at the Seven Sisters County Park. The staff are nice and friendly, we like the decos of the shop. Good simple food after having a hike in the park. Very positive experience with this coffee place!
Lovely place. Only had morning tea, so didn't order anything comprehensive off the menu but such a nice cosy place for a great coffee and croissant
Food The chicken ciabatta was okay. Ciabatta was nice and crunchy on outside and soft on inside. Could’ve done with a bit more chicken and salad. Ambience Nice little courtyard. Service The service was friendly. Price So I’m ultimately giving it 3 instead of 4 given that for the price for one sandwich £6, could’ve had more salad or chicken.
There were flies in the milk and the bread was stale , really not sure we will be coming back. The place looked lovely but I think the staff seemed distracted and not very attentive.
