We had Dave and his crew come to fix our steps in front of our house after a failed job from a previous contractor. They were upfront, honest, professional and completed the job on time and within budget. Couldn’t be happier with the results and impressed with the quality of the work done Will use their services again and would recommend their services!

I cannot express in words how amazing the crew from Whitby Landscaping & Gardening are. They kept me well informed about the start date, plans for individual days of work, explained reasoning behind their work and how to keep my new patio looking brand new for a long time to come. After the job was done they cleaned up the yard, fixed up the bushes and lawn, washed down all the stone saw dust and took amazing pride of ownership in their work. Seeing how professionally they treat their clients I whole heartedly recommend this amazing landscape company in Durham region. This is how business' should run and treat their clients. We are enjoying our new patio. Dave did a great job recommending stone colours to match our house and Tyler was absolutely fantastic.
Whitby Landscaping did a great job replacing old interlock around our pool. I was really impressed with how careful they were in hand digging around the pool pipes. This crew worked really hard, was extremely friendly and responsive. I felt like they treated my place like their own. They showed attention to detail and commitment to getting things just right. My neighbor was really impressed with how well they cleaned up and that there was no swearing. When I first got their quote, I just about fell over, but then I got 2 competitor quotes and it turned out what they were asking was very fair. When I saw how much work they put into a top quality job, I ended up feeling like I got a deal. They started when they said they would, and finished on budget with no surprises. I would use them again without hesitation and would highly recommend Whitby Landscaping.
I hired Dave and his team in August 2019. They resod the backyard. They also installed stone edging along the garden. They installed flagstone along the side of the house and a small retaining wall with armour stone on either side. Firstly the stone edging has sunk over 2 years as a result of inadequate screening to support the stone. They removed the flagstone as a result of poor installation. They purchased improper sized armour stone, so the retaining wall has to be redone by another company. Recently this clown Dave called me to ask if there was anything that his company could do for me I don't believe he remembered me. I asked if he could come back and correct his poor work. He basically mocked me and said his work was great. Beware of google reviews. I have had great luck with homestars.
