We enjoyed our dishes here, visiting from London and needing a dinner on a Sunday night. The host asked what kind of dishes we already liked, then kindly tweaked the dish to suit our taste or made suggestions. I enjoyed the King Prawns, that were actually king size compared to other restaurants, they were cooked every well with mango and onion sauce. Extra chillies too. The smoked clay ovan dishes with chicken work really well. We would eat here again and recommend to others.
What a fantastic place to eat . Used to be the crown pub , but now Gurkha hill. The food here gets better every time I’ve eaten here . If you like Indian cuisine then this is another level, flavour of every dish make your taste buds glows . Eating here , you wont be disappointed. Had a lovely evening with my partner here. The food was gorgeous and the service was friendly and attentive. The rice dishes could have been a bit more generous though. I think the atmosphere could be enhanced with better lighting, maybe lamps on the tables rather than the stark pub ceiling lights. All in all we had a very nice time .

If you haven’t eaten at this restaurant, you are truly missing out. The owners are friendly and welcoming and the food is outstanding. We eat in as much as we can but if we can’t, the takeaway is exactly the same quality and eating in. They cater for most dietary requirements and the food is so clean in taste. It is presented very well and tastes fantastic . We absolutely love going to this restaurant, it’s the best. Vegetarian options: Any dishes on the menu can be served as a vegan or vegetarian option. We are still working our way through the menu and have loved everything we have been given so far. Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter who is 11 and vegan loves the food at the Ghurka. They are always accommodating in terms of how spicy her food is. Parking: Parking is at the rear of the restaurant. Dietary restrictions: Great vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. We took friend there for a night out and they need gluten free, the owner even brought in gluten free larger for our friends.
Everything is amazing. The people working there are amazing and highly recommend. The food tastes so good and proportions are good too. I give 3* for the atmosphere because of the decorations and the time where I stayed it wasn't playing any lovely traditional songs of the culture.Food: 5/5
Not a big menu. And chips could be better and not from frozen. But have visited twice now and really enjoyed it. Decent parking facilities. Warmly welcomed and most importantly very tasty. Satay dishes would be nice will definitely return.Food: 5/5
Cracking meal here this evening. Everest lamb, veg tikka, aloo paneer all great. Great service too. And the Gurkha beer is perfect for a curry Vegetarian options: Limited on the menu, but they will make other veggie options
