Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night passing through. Excellent cod & chips, with nice thin, crisp batter. One of our family asked for gluten-free, and they were really helpful and friendly, and did some unbattered fish up special. Will stop back in on the way home.

Chips were hard and flavourless. No service to really speak of. Barely 2 words said to me other than asking if I wanted salt and vinegar. Portion size was about right if the chips had been edible. (Some might have found the portion to be a little small so order large if you have a big appetite) based on other reviews it seems to be a bit of a hit and miss kinda place.

We came in for a takeaway service, though they have a restaurant area offering table service, Friendly staff, great portions and very good prices! The bench next to the serving bar is a nice touch aswell whilst you wait to be served.

Amazing chips, sausages and burgers that really were tasty and not you usual chip shop special. Quality food, will definitely visit again. Also tales card.

Would not visit again, had a meal in the restaurant, served in a cardboard box and the tea in a cardboard cup! Very poor.
