Yesterday I came I'm woth my diamond back, the staff member who helped me was amazing, he made my day, thank you definitely only coming here when I upgraded my bike.
Went in to get some advice on electric bikes and 20 minutes later £2,500 was gone. The guys in the shop were so helpful that I was more than happy to buy a bike from them there and then. They took the time to take me through everything I needed to know and were more than happy to answer my numerous questions. An hour after buying it the bike had been fully set up and had a firmware update ready for me to take it away. Huge thanks to a great team!
We had 2 bikes that haven't been serviced since 2017. Their team did an amazing work from start to finish. Fantastic service!
Excellent choice of bikes and accessories. The staff all have very good knowledge of their departments and are able to answer questions about any aspect of the store. Last Month, March 2022 I bought an excellent mountain bike/roadbike crossover by Australian manufacturer Ceres. Bought a bike on Sunday - guy was really helpful and said it would be ready in an hour. We said we’d come back the next day to collect. Turned up on Monday, after travelling an hour there, to find that the motor needed to be calibrated after an update - something apparently only one person can do. And he wasn’t working that day. I also needed the seat to be lowered which hadn’t been done. Safe to say my confidence in Evans went out the window. Guy behind the counter didn’t seem overly bothered and apologised unenthusiastically whilst shrugging. Said I’d get a phone call on Tuesday when it’s ready. It’s 4pm on Tuesday and I’m still waiting for the call… One star for price. Another star for the helpful, friendly guy who sold it to us. Zero stars for the non existent service.
The staff here are fantastic, especially the immensely knowledgeable mechanic Alan. I've had a few issues with my road bike which have been swiftly diagnosed and rectified. I highly recommend these guys!

Fantastic service! The team at Castleford Evans Cycles were very helpful and advised about which cassette to buy for our son's new bike wheel, helped us source it, and then found the best price for it, too. Once the cassette arrived, the speed in which they fitted it and carried out the puncture repair was very impressive. I would recommend Evans Cycles Castleford for all of the above combined with a reassuring friendliness for an amateur cyclist.
I only gave you four stars because I needed a bike in a hurry and your selection wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but the guy I spoke to was very knowledgeable and very friendly and gave me a lot of help and advice, and I did eventually come away with a bike, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
The guys at Evans Castleford have restored my faith in costumer service especially on this occasion as my intentions were not to purchase but I needed help with my crank arm because my Pedal had cross threaded in the are !!! The one guy that helped placed my bike on the repair stand and fixed it for me at no cost although I offered …. Really friendly helped me out loads as I had roughly a 25 mile ride back home ! Brilliant bloke your a credit to the company
