Had an amazing bike tutorial this morning. Have been riding a few years but hadn't been maintaining my bike well. For £15 you get an hour with someone to show you all the important ways in which to maintain your bike and I can now fix my own punctures and how to do an M safety check. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks so much! I'm sure I'll be able to save some money now I'm looking after my bike better.
Great service and experience at the store! As i entered the store to fix my cycle chain being displaced, I was assisted by Tom, who briefly diagnosed my cycle and told me what was wrong. Tom managed to fix the issue within 5 minutes, and while doing so, he was extremely helpful and friendly in describing the issue to me. Couldn't have asked for a better place for the issue to have occurred - Thank you Evans!
I have never written an online review in my life, but I will today. I turned up to Evans Cycles in Canary Wharf as it was opening, having walked half my commute after my chain snapped at the exact midpoint between home and work. Carlos, in the workshop, not only fixed the chain and refitted it there and then, but also corrected the tension on the gear selector and realigned everything far better than it was before. Total cost was precisely zero, and I left the shop about 4 minutes after I walked in with a fully functioning bicycle. I have spent the last hour boring everyone at work with how amazing the service was, and I will continue to. I haven't seen that level of helpfulness in a really, really long time. Thank you very much, Carlos - absolutely top notch.
Ordered a new bike which I picked up from this branch today. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure someone was available to help. Because I commute to Canary Wharf I had a 10 mile ride home so was a bit worried about the setup. However, I needn't have worried, the bike was setup perfectly. Also, great bike! Recommended!
The staff at this shop are really helpful. I purchased a new bike from the store and have had some issues with my bike , but this is due to the manufacturer and not Evans. However they have always helped me to get back on the road successfully. They really care about their customers cycling experience it is not just about selling bikes and accessories.
Very professional service as always! Jason first explained which bike I should go for, then James helped me get the additional equipments to order and lastly Toma and Adam gave me the build bike and showed me how to fold it most efficiently and showed me other best practices, so overall had a great experience.
Third time I go there and I can say that the customer service is great. The first time I met a very helpful guy called Zack who took the time to assist me although I did not buy anything. Second time, same thing happened but with a guy called Matty. Matty was really helpful and did a quick assessment of my bike that was noisy when I cycled and helped me with my dynamo. Plus, he was super friendly. Till then I hadn’t had spent a penny yet. So when I got a puncture on my back wheel yesterday, I didn’t think twice about where to go. Would definitely recommend this shop for the nice staff there, especially Matty and Zack.
Popped in to have a gear adjustment this morning. Carlos sorted it out within five minutes. Extremely impressed by the service, both in terms of the rapidity with which the technical issue was resolved and the helpfulness of Carlos and the other members of staff. Will definitely be using this as my go-to bike repair shop.
I had a great experience here a few weeks back. I was looking to get some mudguards for the bike I use to commute to work on as I was fed up with getting soaked and dirty from spray on the road. The shop assistant took a look at my bike and suggested a suitable set then offered to get them fitted in store. Also, to take advantage of the fitting, I got some new brake blocks - both were fitted in approx 15 minutes for a very reasonable price. Was worth it for a safer cleaner commute.
