I am local curier in this area. Toilet everyday is out of order its very hard for drivers
Fair prices and a tidy forecourt. The staff were friendly and attentive. Small selection of food and drink as its quite a small shop.
I use this station only because I live within minutes of it and its convenient, however only has one member of staff who is welcoming and that is the woman who I rarely see in there. All the men bar one are miserable looking and always talking to someone on their phone the guy with tattoos is friendly. I don't like the fact that during the pandemic and still happening to this day you have to touch whether you want to pay £0.25 to charity which I always did in pass but now I don't want to touch anything and shouldn't be forced to. Also after one time when and this happens very regularly the card reader fails to accept tapping on card reader and therefore I inserted card and typed pin, a few days later I had a fraudulent problem with my credit card, but I can't be sure whether it was at garage or not but all I can say is I only use the card at the garage. This is my honest opinion, I would use another garage if it suited. If anyone official reads this please consider pay at pump.
This place is the only station in a 5 mile radius pretty much, and OMG they love to be ahead of the competition on prices! I think they hiked them up, in different stages, by at least 20p within 2 weeks for diesel £1.57 to £1.79 a litre! Keep going and it'll be over £3.50 a litre by August.
