Excellent work once again, Alan helped us previously with putting up a curtain pole, this time we had a particularly difficult shower shelf that had rusted into place so was difficult to remove and replace. Alan knew exactly what to do and fixed the issue, we are really happy with the work and Alan as always was extremely professional, tidy and considerate at all times. Would recommend him to anyone.
We wanted to put up a curtain pole but we were having a lot of trouble drilling into an extremely solid lintel with our own drill and so we called Alan after finding his details online. I found Alan very professional, reliable and trustworthy. He worked fast and even though it was challenging drilling into this particular lintel he persevered. He was meticulous on every detail and even spent more time with us to explain how all the fittings worked. I definitely recommend Alan and will use his services again.
What a very helpful and trustworthy chap. I would most certainly use Alan again and was extremely impressed with the level of quality and eye for detail in the finished job. We were in a tight spot with needing a bit of woodwork replacing on the front of our property and struggled to find someone who would come out and do the work. After being messed around by a couple of other contractors I found his contact details online, he managed to fit us in quickly with no hassle and was very professional.
Alan did an excellent job on a wide variety of tasks in and outside our house. He is always on time and leaves no mess at all. Added to that, he is a really nice guy. Will definitely use again. Will recommend him to my friends. Dr Mark Holmes
Alan is a diligent and reliable professional. He is adaptable and willing to turn his hand to a variety of jobs in and around the home. He has completed two tasks for us recently, one a tricky piece of carpentry, the other dismantling a large, rotten wooden children's climbing frame - in the pouring rain, and he didn't complain once! Alan is a pleasure to deal with.
After sitting indoors all day waiting for a plumber to come and tell me a dripping pipe in my basement wasn't actually leaking - it was just condensation and needed lagging, but they weren't able to do this job themselves - I called Alan at around 17:30 for a quote. Within half an hour he'd located the relevant lagging material and had arrived on my doorstop ready to do the job. Another half an hour later the work was completed. I am very happy with the service received and Alan was a pleasure to deal with - I will not hesitate to use Property Services again for any other jobs around the home.
Alan is very reliable, friendly and reasonably-priced. He did a great job looking after my garden and doing some diy. I would definitely recommend him.
I had a major dilemma. My replacement cat flap needed to go in to enable my two cats to come in and go out. I called a couple of handymen and they all said they were too busy. I called Alan, and despite him being very busy he said he would come and do the job after his last job which would be after 6pm. He arrived when he said he would. He was very courteous, a very nice person and he got the cat flap in in no time despite me giving him the wrong screws for it :- which caused a little bit of a challenge till he realised what had happened. He mentioned he could do pretty much everything, and his website attests to that. So I will definitely be using him again and would highly recommend him for any jobs you need to. He was also extremely reasonably priced.
Alan was great - turned up when he said he would, braved the August weather and certainly went the extra mile! Would highly recommend! Thanks Alan - on to the next job on my project list!
