I took my car in for some work under warranty and took it in a day early by mistake. They managed to look at my car that afternoon Thursday and phoned me Friday morning to say the gearbox had been stripped and they know the issue, just waiting for approval from Cinch, brilliant. I was told I would be called either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning to confirm the approval, that just didn’t happen. So I called first thing Monday and couldn’t get through on the phone. Then tried Monday afternoon and the same again. Called the sales team and they transferred me through, but I was cut off again with no answer. Finally got a call Tuesday morning saying that it was all approved and the work would be carried out today and be ready to collect the same afternoon. Surprisingly I didn’t get a call Tuesday and couldn’t get in touch because the phone lines are useless and you can’t even call the department. The car was ready for collection Wednesday morning but I was boarding a plane so couldn’t collect it until Saturday morning. 3 days after the car had been ready for collection, I got told on arrival that my invoice wasn’t ready as it was a split claim between Ford and Cinch which didn’t bother me at the time as they took my details and said it will be sent in the post. Fast forward 2 weeks and no invoice so I get on to the live chat and they say they will give me a call back, 2 weeks after that and still no call and no invoice! I’ve previously worked on the service department at a main dealer and I would’ve been shamed at the level of customer service I’ve received here, simply not good enough. Seems as though the problem was sorted, whatever was actually done on the car, I guess I’ll find out when I eventually get an invoice..

The repair on my car was done promptly with no questions asked regarding the warranty. I was given a courtesy car which was a 1 year old Puma and lovely to drive. The people I spoke to were courteous and friendly. I cannot fault the service I was given.
It was a really good experience choosing my next car. Managed to locate one somewhere else that they moved up to Rayleigh. Everything was done on time and to a high standard when I collected the car. Excellent service!
Very friendly lady on my arrival at 8.30. She advised me that the car would be ready in about 1 hour and would call me. I took the bus into the Town Centre to pass the time. I then got a call at 9.40 to advise me that it was ready. On my arrival to collect the car a different lady was just as helpful, and I was on my way home by 9.50. The job was to replace a faulty reversing sensor. Always recommend.
I had a recall on my car. I changed my booking when I arrived The staff was very helpful and friendly. The job was done in no time at all. Not that I wouldn't of minded waiting with free tea' coffee and WiFi with a pleasant place to wait Well Done Essex Ford..
No fuss, No flannel and professional friendly salesperson. I wanted a newer low mileage part exchange deal and I was guided from start to finish without the sales pitch in your face approach. Took my car into Rayleigh Ford this morning. From the service team to the engineer, they were all courteous, polite, and fantastic at what they do. Real credit to the Ford company. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you.
For me personally my dealings have been terrible, so very disappointed I took my 5 year old van in for a new engine, my pride and joy, bought from new at a cost of nearly 20k. I have dashcam footage of them resting a 12v jump pack on the bonnet/bumper. it came out with a rubbish repair job on the bonnet where they had painted between my bonnet stripes after being told Not To, dent in the back door and my fog lights no longer work, battery has been left attached during lockdown so its now stuffed and the area manager has said I need to choose between a new battery or bumper repair, it's back there at the moment, they are trying to diagnose the fault with the fog lights so I may have to pay even more money. , sadly will not be returning after this ordeal ever again. "Update: 16 June fog lights have been fixed" The manager at at this branch has been very helpful. Thank you Ben
