Stopped by for a quick bite before heading off for my bus to my next holiday destination. I was quickly seated and had my order taken, and there wasn't too long to wait for the drink Strawberry Fantasy smootie and food Nutella waffle to come out after that. Nothing wrong with the flavours in the waffle, although the amount of Nutella was a bit over-powering. I was eating fairly quickly to head to my bus, but the positive initial service experience was let down a little by only being asked how my meal was when I was leaving / paying, and not while I was consuming it. I ended up taking much of the smoothie with me, and between the food and drink, it kept me powered through 'til dinner.
The coffee was really good, you could really tell it was quality coffee. The place interior is nicely designed and has kind members of staff. I ordered the Chicken Satay Salad which was absolutely delicious. The coated chicken breast was soft, and the flavors melted in my mouth. It wasn’t dry and classic, I could not understand how it could be that nice. I would recommend you to visit this place for a cup of coffee and try their giant, homemade muffins. Must visit coffee shop in Limerick!!
Good quality food & decent portions. The coffee’s good. Service was a little slow.
Upon recently visiting this lovely cafe again I have decided to update my review to 5 stars. Had a lovely sandwich with some friends. I ordered a chai latte and the barista came down to explain the gorgeous pumpkin art she had done on the latter which is very hard with oat milk I was very impressed and it kind of made my day. Staff at till was very friendly too. They seemed to have updated their sweet treats section greatly since the dark days of covid take out only. Looking forward to coming back again soon
Lovely place to sit for a cup of coffee. Unfortunately the place closes early, which subtracts greatly from the experience. We were told that we could order within 10 minutes of the kitchen closing closed at 3pm which we did. Then we sat down and relaxed but realised we couldn't, as we felt rushed by the staff already cleaning up and tidying chairs away, half an hour before closing time. Don't think that's a great image to present to customers. Anyhow, food was good despite the chicken burger not coming with a proper salad/veg, seating good, drinks good. Tea gets served in a pot with two refills. Overall rather pleased and will be going here again! This time earlier!
Love this place! Delicious coffee, cakes ,muffins and the best hot chocolate in town!
Good food but new servers need to have basics up to a tee. Order coffee and no stirrer, no milk with it ... it's like pulling teeth. Please add brown sauce in the condiments, we're in Ireland.
Ordered coffee, toast and jam. Got my coffee. Sat down. After a while I got one slice of cold toast. A portion of toast would be 2 slices? After another while I got butter. After a while went to counter to ask for fresh toast and jam. Finished my coffee. requested a refund as I received no food. I got no apology didn't appear to really care. Do not recommend
It’s a lovely place to get a full irish breakfast. On the other hand the stuff and the manager are so kind, I really enjoyed my food over there.Recommended dishesFull Irish Breakfast
