Had my first ever massage today and it was amazing! Came back feeling relaxed with my aches and pains soothed. Very friendly and kind, would highly recommend!
Maxine is always warm, friendly and welcoming. The Oriental Face Massage is, despite its name, a whole body experience; intensely relaxing and pampering! I have also received the deep tissue back massage, which has resolved the long term tension I have been experiencing. I would highly recommend Tranquil Studios and always look forward to my treatments.
Maxine is the hypnotherapist here. She was immediately welcoming upon my arrival. She is bubbly and vivacious and I felt at home in her studio. When the treatment started she exuded a calm and relaxing aura which allowed me to relax. I had never been hypnotised before and this was a wonderful first experience. I will definitely go back to Maxine for future treatments.
Maxine relieved my stress and tension with a wonderful Swedish back and neck massage. Maxine really helped remove tension in my body I got from working long hours at a computer. Tranquil studios staff are very warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
WOW!!! Words can't do this little gem of a heaven in Retford justice! I initially went to Maxine for hopi candles last year which blew me away as id had them done in Bali a few months before and Maxines were 100% better, such a relaxing and professional treatment. I then booked my husband in. He loved it too! And said he felt very comfortable with Maxines professional manner Then... I booked my best friend in for a full body massage and pedicure. She loved it! I bought an Elemis facial kit from Amanda and she explained there was a promotion and I qualified for a facial so I booked in. I have had many facials in my 44 years but none as good as this! Amazing product and top notch service. I will be back next month for another facial guaranteed. Tranquil do alsorts of quality treatments, each time I've been I've left feeling totally spoilt and feel I come out feeling a lot more amazing than I ever expected I bought a beautiful lamp from there too..... I am feeling very lucky that I found you amazing ladies and the haven of Tranquil Studios Wellbeing xxx
Maxine Hallam is the gentle yet passionate driving force behind Tranquil Studios Wellbeing Centre. This is a place where the welcome is warm, personal and friendly, and where Maxine puts her clients' wellbeing at the top of her priority list. The therapies are expertly delivered, and the practitioners who offer services in addition to Maxine's are specially chosen to ensure the all-important relaxing and calming ambience of the Studios is at it's best at all times. Maxine is now producing her own meditation CD's and developing her series of monthly meditation events. The message is simple - it's a genuine retreat with great people helping us all to enjoy life to the full. I'm a regular! :D
I would highly recommend tranquil studio for massage treatments. Hands down the best one I have found locally. Their new premises are lovely and come with free parking!
