Quite a nice front to walk on. Given it was new year, the weather was kind but freezing. And most shops were closed because of covid 19. However, very pleasant for a walk in fresh air. Loved Eric Morecambe Statue. Did the obligatory dance around him
Visited a fair few years back when we visited morecambe on our way up to Scotland. The Only photo’s that I found, are unfortunately similar to those already on here...but we did love the fact that his statue in such a prominent position on the sea front.
Great tribute! Beautiful sea and lake district in the background. Interesting messages around tribute. Close to beach and shops and car parks, right on beach front.
Brilliant walks along the front very nice shop owners and just to top it off a photo with my favourite comedian. And great photos for album.
Fantastic tribute to a comedy legend. He even had a surgical mask on, covering his mouth & nose, I guess provided by a member of the public to protect him from Coronavirus
A wonderful cycle ride along the Morecambe Promenade. This must one of the best Promenades in England and Walesand we have cycled a few. It has points of interest along the whole route..in front of you, above you, below you and all around you. Visit Morecambe and you will discover exactly what I mean.
Not the best statue I've ever seen, but it's by the sea and that's of course it's beautiful.
A great piece of art that reflects a great comedian of his day.
