Queued SO LONG for this place using their app. It gives you an estimated time which was an hour off at least. Food was good, service was pleasant. Pancakes weren’t as epic as I expected. Wouldn’t go back again with the queues.Food: 4/5
A Disappointing experience I recently visited Ergon Deli, lured by the long waiting line that suggested the food would be exceptional. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfying and left me quite disappointed. Despite trying over five different dishes, none of them met even basic expectations. The food was bland and lacked the taste and quality one would hope for. It was clear that the reputation did not match the reality. The service was another letdown. The staff behaved more like robots than humans, lacking friendliness and enthusiasm. While I am not expecting them to cheer me up or praise me every time I take a bite, I was expecting some friendly interaction during ordering or even when asking where the toilet was. Instead, it felt like I was brushed off with a curt, "just go there and check." To top it off, we were surprised when the waiter told us that the peinirli was out of stock. This was shortly after noon, and we had already waited over two hours. Such a lack of availability for a popular item was disappointing and frustrating. While the prices were reasonable, I would have gladly paid more for better-tasting food and a more pleasant dining experience. I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience this time. Save your time and money, and consider other dining options.
Ergon Deli is a cozy Greek spot with delicious breakfast options. it’s always busy. so be prepared for a wait. You will need to scan the barcode next to the front door to join the queue.Food: 4/5
Decent brunch food, but service can be improved. It took a long time for someone to take our order, and there were no cups next to the water coolers. Great pancakes though- fluffy and not too sweet. Would recommend the one with Greek yogurt, fruits and granola pictured. My friends enjoyed their food as well.
The booking system at this place is a joke. We were told there was an 80 minute wait for a table, but it's completely empty inside. They make you scan a QR code to wait for a table. Each no show gets a 10min grace period. This results in queues of people standing outside waiting and all empty tables inside. Just use an online booking system like every other restaurant in London.
Had the granola yogurt pancake and was surprisingly good. The poached egg sesame bagel was a good balanced to the pancake. The carrot cake was huge, a tad sweet but not too dry and you can taste the raisin chunks too. Prepare to queue approx 40mins for Friday Lunch
We went for brunch, the food was fine, I'd recommend to try the peinirli if you visit. It was very tasty and the portions were big. On the negative side, I wanted to change the type of bread from the dish I ordered green shakshuka to another one but it wasn't allowed not even for a fee. The waitress suggested me to order both which would be a waist as noone would be able to finish both. Vibe wise, the right side of the place had a bit of a better vibe, light music with a ceiling window/glass, the left side was 'dead'. The toilets were modern but not maintained throughout the day with lack of clean tissues and lots of dirty ones on the floor outside the bin.
This toasts costed £12, I expected they have at least make some effort to spread the jam and butter and honey on top of the toasts and make it look nice but they did not. The toast and jam were served separately, we have to requested multiple times for the jam and butter. We were given wrong instruction to head to counter to order but stopped by another staff quite rude. We came around 1pm and the sever told us no meat no smoothie. What else do they have? Coffee and food arrived 20 mins after we ordered. 1 star is for the food and coffee, it tastes fair, not very good not bad.
Great service, light brunch. Had poached eggs on bread and pancakes for dessert. Recommended thank you Kyri and Nicole for being nice and cheerful.Food: 5/5
Great food! Intelligent way to queue with the dojo app. A little bit slow service but it was expected as they were really busy! Great place overall! Would love to return in the futureFood: 5/5
