Contacted to ERG facilities due to loss of pressure in our boiler. Even though the team was stretched due to being very busy, they made an effort to visit us at a convenient time and were helpful and friendly on the phone. Our engineer was polite, courteous and informative - and located our issue almost immediately, ordering the part and returning to fix it within a couple of days, whilst in the meantime providing information on how to get the most out of our broken boiler. Fee was reasonable for the repair and part, invoicing was clear and timely. Good communication throughout. Would recommend and use again!
Avoid at all costs Arranged plumber to attend a leak coming through to an alleyway on the Friday. Was informed it would be same day. The tenants then advised me on Saturday no one had even attended, with no notice or update from ERG. An additional engineer was sent on the Sunday and quite frankly wish we had not wasted our time. They went into the wrong bathroom and diagnosed the leak as coming from the roof. The original issue was explained to the call centre staff as leaking shower coming through to alleyway below. The bathroom the engineer decided to look at and have a look at the roof did not even have an alley way below. We had to consequently send a different competent contractor who immediately and easily may I add found the fault. All at extra expense. Obnoxious communications from them since, paid £162 for the disservice. Requested a refund as essentially paid for someone to come in and point at a roof two days later than booked in. Company offered no discount for the engineer being missed and waiting an extra two days. Company deflected blame and I would strongly advise not to use them as they have no morals in providing not even an adequate let alone a good service to their customers.Service: Plumbing leak detection
Communication was key. I was able to communicate directly with the coordinator to get questions answered and very timely follow up. My only critique was when the unit was connected to my electrical panel, the team did not cross check to ensure all of my power panel was turned on. This resulted in a freezer being offline for 36 hours. I did find ERG team member onsite was very respectful, did their job diligently. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.
Their Engineer lied about stripping down our WC, which is not true, and I asked their customer agent to send someone to verify if the WC was truly stripped down, but he refused, all to collect extra money for which he did not work. This is pure fraud; such a business will eventually fail. This is not a sustainable business model. Stay away EDIT: I will add my reply here, because I can't reply to you: Yesterday, I requested your service on our property. You said it would cost £135 pounds per hour. When the Engineer arrived, he informed us that he needed to seal the pipe. So he went to buy a seal; we received a call from Erg that the Engineer said he would need to strip down the entire WC and reassemble it, which would take another 2 hours; I agreed to that, but in the end, he didn't strip the toilet down; all he did was reseal the pipe, and he spent less than an hour in our property. So I received an invoice for £546.00 yesterday morning. I attempted to speak with your customer service representative about sending another engineer to confirm if the WC was recently stripped down. Erg facilities team fitted 2 large chandeliers for us, changed a number of pendant fittings and added a new outside light. electricians also fitted new extractor fans and a smoke alarm as well as diagnosing the problem with our garden lights. He was punctual, hard working and tidy. The work has carried out to a high standard. We will definitely use Erg facilities again and I have no hesitation in recommending him.
One star, for the quick response. Otherwise terrible. Paid in advance no other option for boiler service and to repair a loss of pressure problem. They completed the service, no problem. Happy with that. Engineer failed to diagnose the cause of the pressure drop and left my tenants to it. No feedback, no ownership of the problem. I had to find another company to come and start again, they found the fault straight away and completed the repair. Erg would only visit if they were paid in advance, and took advantage of this. Offered no refund for the repair, despite multiple attempts by me.
Outstanding customer service -every single person I spoke to was incredibly helpful and they went the extra mile to send someone out as quickly as possible when my boiler broke. Both engineers that came out were brilliant -incredibly efficient, friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend them highly enough and would definitely use their services again.
