It was a once in a lifetime experience with fantastic scenery. An incredible beach ride and wonderful horses which were so well cared for. Also I had a previous booking with equus journeys which had to be amended then cancelled due to my own personal circumstances and they couldn't have been more understanding or helpful. Definitely recommend
I booked a horseback riding holiday to South Africa through Equus Journeys and Iris made it so easy for me. She was quick to reply and give info on the different alternatives I was considering and the whole booking experience and planning for the trip was great. You get a personal page with all the info you need and everything you need to fill out or upload. It felt very secure and professional. And the trip itself was one of the best experiences of my life, if not the best. Thank you Equus Journeys!
Equus is a fantastic company to book your trip through. Super communication throughout and always very quick to respond, which makes the whole process so simple. They think of everything! We had the most incredible time on safari with fantastic people and really well matched horses. Iris at equus is brilliant! Incredible horse riding trip in Mongolia. Iris was really flexible and gave me all the information needed before the departure. Horses were responsive and dynamics, the locals guides extraordinary, everything was taking care of during our time in yourtes and outside. Mongolia is huge and beautiful, long cantering in the steppes make it unforgettable. Highly recommended
Equus Journeys, Iris, Sophie and Ken are amazing. I went on the Castles of the Loire Valley trip. Amazing horses, scenery, castles, people and food!!! Iris at Equus Journey set everything up for me and were very responsive to all my questions. Sophie & Ken, the owners of the horses, were fantastic!! Their horses are very solid and take care of their riders. The set up of the tour was flawless. Riding up to a castle is the only way to get to a one. I can't say enough about Iris, Sophie and Ken! Iris organized the best riding holiday ever for me! Could not have had a better experience. Even before I left, the whole booking process was seamless even in the wake of last minute changes. Will absolutely be using Equus Journeys again for future riding holidays.
My friend and I rode in Costa Brava, Spain, through Equus Journeys this autumn and had a spectacular experience! Our contact, iris, has been extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire booking experience. The quality of the horses, facilities, and guides was excellent and we will absolutely be booking through Equus again in future.
I booked the Taste of the Costa Brava trip in Spain with Equus Journeys which was absolutely amazing and so well organised. Travelling on horseback was the perfect way to experience the Catalonian landscape. Pictures could not do it justice; it was magical. My horse Capri was the most beautiful Andalusian mare. She was really fun to ride as she was full of personality, energy and so well behaved. I cannot fault anything about my experience with Equus Journeys, the service was excellent the whole way through. Iris was always available to help and answer any questions! This was my first equestrian holiday, so I didn’t know what to expect but it’s safe to say it exceeded all my expectations. It was one of the best trips I've ever been on, I couldn't recommend it enough. Can't wait to book my next trip :
I had a great experience with Equus Journeys, not only was our trip amazing but all the help before and during our trip from the people working there. They were great every step of the way from the beginning of booking the holiday to our trip back home. They were quick at answering questions and at helping out if we came across something we didn't understand. I definitely recommend them for equestrian holidays, and I will use them again for my next trip.
The company was very communicative and helpful. We loved that they have options for so many different locations, and we appreciated the number of advanced rides available.
