Visited on Sunday 7th for the first time in ages. Okay overall with some plus points.nThe pool water is warm, as were the showers and it was relatively quiet.nThe showers aren't that great on the way to the pool, and you have to box up all your clothes and belongings and put them on the side of the pool as there are no lockers.nAlthough it was relatively quiet, and i had chosen a clear area to do lengths in on one side of the pool, there were a few instructors dotted around who kept getting in the way, so disrupted the swimming even though they had the rest of the pool to choose from.
Needs lots of updating and could do with a thorough clean, cubicles, floors and toilets need to be cleaned more frequently. Staff however are lovely and friendly. Classes provided are good.
I came today for the 1st time with my 14 month old daughter and found it a little disappointing. The pool was freezing cold and my little girl started shivering 5 minutes after getting in and so we had to get her out for what we hoped would be a warm shower but they were barley warmer than the pool. Unfortunately I don't feel I can bring my baby daughter back unless the pool and showers are warmer. It would be useful if there was a sign up or if we were warned at reception about the temperature of the pool.
A brilliant pool, warm enough to go and teach a child to swim without getting cold! Very clean and not busy during the week. Excellent!
Great pool, very nice and friendly staff. The showers and changing cubicles started to show their age. Otherwise great swimming and very good value for money, highly recommended
