Went to the Spring meeting and had a very relaxed time. Looked at the website though which I think is quite poor describing the parking. No problems though looking at the horses and then placing a bet. And no dress code, and able to wander around fairly freely. Very civilised. Five stars if you get to meet the Queen.

Had an amazing experience. My 21month old loves horses and we saw lots in the first 30mins. One of the jockey stopped and let my son stroke the horse. Parking is free, best experience of his life x

Lived on Epsom Downs for 24 years before moving on. Nice place to spend a few hours. Better when there is no Racing . Views of London and you can see for miles on a clear day . But sadly don't miss it . Leave it for the horsey people.

It’s a peaceful place to enjoy nature. Races only happen a few times a year, so it can really be considered a park for most of the year. It tends to be crowded over the weekend, but there’s always enough room for everyone. It’s used for horse training everyday, especially until noon, so dogs must be kept on leash till noon and whenever there are horses present. From the viewpoint/carpark just opposite the main entrance (Grandstand Road) you can see the whole of London, including Heathrow Airport, the Chard and everything in between. The view can be quite spectacular on a clear evening. To take good pictures you will need a tripod and a long lens.

Absolutely fantastic for nice walk's on the downs, also a lovely racecourse with fantastic views. Great place for dog walking .
