I have used this kebab shop on and off over the years. Sometimes good, sometimes not so good. This last time October 2022 I was left with a considerably bad stomach for almost a week. Never again for me, could have been unwashed salad or under cooked food. Not recommended.
Two bad orders in a month. Ordered a Small Chicken Shish with Mayo and Large Chicken Donner with burger sauce. I received the shish fine, but opened the bag and got a Large chicken donner with Mayo and also an additional Small chicken donner again with Mayo, I phoned to say I’ve received incorrect order to then be passed from a female member who was polite to a Rude, arrogant male. He Told me I had ordered incorrectly when I hadn’t! Told me to keep the two kebabs but I don’t like Mayo and ordered burger sauce… then accused me of ordering wrong again! I was like but it’s your mistake as you’ve also delivered an extra kebab that wasn’t ordered. He offered to then replace the kebab but I would have to wait. I waited an extra 40 mins for a mildly warm kebab to arrive with off tasting burger sauce! Nearly two hours to get the right kebab. The chicken was really greasy and tasted bland. The pot of burger sauce I ordered extra tasted like mayo. The service at this place has gone way downhill, prices are really expensive and quality of food is poor. Last time I use this place. Such a shame as it was so good about a year or so ago. I’ll be going to Sussex kebabs from now on who are cheaper but I have to collect but the quality is great in comparison.
The first time when I order from this kebab and the last time! The gentleman who answer the phone is very arrogant and doesn't care about other people life, I repeat two times I am allergic to onions and my kebab was full with onions, when I call them back, the gentleman was very rude, asking me to put the onions in the bin and eat the rest. The chips was cold and black, half of them I had to put in the bin.
So annoyingly frustrating. Rude staff, horrendously long wait times but good food! This place used to be so good, last two orders however have been a joke. First one took over 2 hours to arrive, constantly being fobbed off to by the owner. Tonight’s took over an hour for a kebab! Not even an apology on the phone and guy who delivered just stood on his phone then walked off. Never again.
Assumed I was drunk and tried to do me out of £10 change. They will take advantage of drunken people beware
Perfect!! Ordered online and from shop was amazing. Online pretty spot on, never any issues ask and you get, the comments are there for a reason. Portion size especially for me being a bigger guy hit the spot. The quality is top notch and I've had a few in my time its worth it. The price for Reading area is about average so may have change left over compared to some places. The customer service on my recent visit was welcoming and was helpful when completing my order. If your looking for good food, good price this is the place to try.
Food is delicious. The Chicken shish is amazing and the flavours give a beautiful taste! Definitely recommend when you want a 10/10 kebab!! Thank you for the great food
Never again!!!! me and my partner ordered online and spent £70 for cold food waited for 1 hour and 40 minutes phoned to the waitress and asked if they could come and take it back it was so disappointing the garlic bread was cold chips where soggy and sweaty chicken was even colder. When asked for a refund we got told they don't do refunds absolutely awful service my partner is 23 weeks pregnant and expressed concern on how long the food may have been sitting for. When my partner was on the phone to the waitress to complane you could hear the management in the background shouting shouldn't have paid by card if I could give no stars I would they did however offer a free meal of £50 on our next order after the service we got never again
Probably the worst place I've ever ordered from food taste like rubber. None of the food came with salad. Half a cheese slice in the burger. Grease dripping out the nuggets, pita like cardboard. And warm chips considering it came quick. 25quid I spent really wasn't worth it
Good service and very nice food portions! I was a bit surprised how much salad and meat they actually managed to squeeze in one kebab. Definitely worth the price. Heard a lot about them, yet struggled to try by myself. Really recommend. They even gave us a discount for waiting as there was quite big order to be sorted before ours.
