Very helpful staff offered me a free upgrade when the van I requested was out of action. Very quick and easy when collecting amd dropping off the van.
Make sure you take pictures for every ding, chip and scrape before taking the car otherwise you will be billed for stuff you havent noticed at that moment but somehow they notice it when taking back the car. Unless you document the damages with pictures you cannot overturn the damage report. And no they dont take pictures of the cars before handing them to you so be carefull.
Book a van online and get a confirmation email and they take my money. Get a call 20 minutes before collection and get told. Tough we don't have a van. Untrustworthy. AVOID

So I haven't actually had my booking yet.. But I'm writing this review based on a phone call I've had earlier this evening with the Grangemouth branch, not scoring it at the bottom but the conversation was just awkward as hell! Just got the overwhelming impression the employee wanted off that phone. Abigail was the person's name and she did nothing but cut me off before the end of my sentences and basically ended the call on me no bad words from me. Now granted this was 15 minutes before they closed but it was the earliest I could call and needed to know what I needed when the time come to collect my rental. When you do your booking is not clear that you'll be paying an additional £200 at the desk when you collect your keys, it's refundable upon return of the vehicle but it's things like this that is pretty important to know, so I wasn't 100% sure on this because rented previously years ago, remembered a complication, didn't have the extra money and had to borrow it stood in their office on the phone.... So i wanted clarification. I also wanted to know if prepaying made it cheaper etc but before I got a chance 10 minutes before close at this time she finished her sentence on the £200 refundable retainer with "Ok Thank you bye". And that was it... Completely rude in my opinion, if this lady is anything to go by a bit of training in Customer service is needed here at the Grangemouth branch. The people walking through the door are your customers not people your doing favours for. Looking into other options at the moment because to be honest this stuff supposed to be easy, I'm moving house got enough complications going on. later added update... Cancelled my reservation, went with Arnold Clark who were way more professional and as goes cheaper. Happy days, won't be using these guys again
Used this branch twice now when visiting from Canada. Both picking up and dropping off the vehicle was quick and efficient. Staff is very friendly and took the time to answer questions and to ensure I understood the paperwork. The car was clean and ready when we showed up. Less driving stress leaving from Falkirk than from Glasgow or Edinburgh. Gave me a chance to get comfortable driving on the left side of the road.
Just booked a Mercedes Sprinter for a day. Easy to deal with, van was of very High Standard no warning lights etc like I've experienced at other van rental companies, equipped with reverse parking cameras and very high spec, competitively priced too. Staff were polite and explained everything in detail. Will use again for sure. Thank You.
