I have a Mersey flow crossing pass so when I went across the bridge in the rental car I completely forgot to pay for the crossing. It was an honest mistake that only came to light when enterprise e mailed me.nI was happy to pay the £44 fine as it was my mistake but for enterprise to add on a £70 fine…….£35 each way. They called it an admin charge. They sent a standard letter by e mail which does not reflect the £70 cost!nIt’s an absolute disgrace and extortionate.nI emailed them to explain and was told it was in the contract. The one I signed in the pouring rain, also the car had no petrol in it!nWhen the fob said the battery was low I had to go back to enterprise with a replacement battery at my expense, only to be told I couldn’t open the fob because the fob had been superglued………I should have invoiced them.nNo goodwill even at Christmas when money is tight….disgraceful and terrible experience causing a lot of stress.
5 star experience from the Runcorn branch who are handling my non-fault insurance claim when getting my courtesy car, a Nissan Qashqai via my insurance company. The branch went above and beyond to source this car and bring it from another branch which we were very greatful for! The staff are all polite and helpful, particularly the manageress sorry I'm terrible with names, Jasmin or Yasmin who is extremely efficient, professional and a generally lovely person.nOverall, the experience all around has been excellent. The staff are always very helpful and friendly and they have a good selection of cars to suit every budget however if you add the additional insurance to reduce your excess down from around £1500 per dent it can make the hire considerably more expensive in every case.
Booked and paid for a vehicle online, arrived the next morning to collect to be told there where no similar vehicles available. Asked for a refund which the staff were more than happy to give me. However it’s now TWENTY DAYS later and I still haven’t received any money back. I’ve called several times and been told the refund has been issued but still no sign of it in my account. If the money isn’t in tomorrow I’ll have to go to trade and standards.
I've had a few experiences with these guys and they've been great on every occasion. Really helpful and professional
