Urgently needed a car to drop off my baby with the grandparents so I could attend an important meeting at work. Cheched availability, booked online with enterprise and paid in full. The next day they put my pick up time back 2hrs as they were struggling to find a car. Then a further 4hrs after that, I tried calling them after that and they'd left the office. We're now 2 weeks later and I've still not been given a refund. None of my friends or family will be using these clowns again. Update: I took the advice below and spoke to customer services who sent me this... We pride ourselves on our standard of customer service and we take every reported incident seriously. Your issue has been raised and your reference number is: CL367589. The Area Manager of the branch concerned will carry out an initial investigation into this issue and a member of their team will contact you within five working days. I'm not even surprised that I've had no reply within those 5 days. Nor have I had any money back 4 weeks down the line. I stand by my 1 star review and only wish I could grade it lower. Update 2 - low and behold there was no contact within 5 working days so had to complain again. Which escalated it to a further 2 working days. At the very end of the second working day I received an email asking is the refund had been paid yet. I guess this was their obligation met. Anyway a further couple of working days after that I've still heard nothing tangible so 3rd call to complain I'm told that the Melton branch haven't sent finance any forms or completed any paperwork for a refund. Complaints dept have done those forms for me and I can expect my money back in another 10 working days. Taking things well into 2 months since I paid for a car that never existed. Hopefully the area manager will muster up the professionalisation to actually call me one day.
Absolutely appalling service, booked a large van rental for collection at 12:00hrs on 16th August from Melton Mowbray and was called in the morning to tell me there was no usable van available, left waiting until 16:50hrs, with a few we are sorry calls in between, to be told we can’t get a van, not even for collection on the 17th, but they will refund me. It’s the van I wanted not a refund, now I have to find myself another van at short notice. One thing I know for sure is that I will NEVER use Enterprise ever again
I was dreading having to pick up a hire car as assumed it would be the worst part of getting my car fixed after an accident. However, the team at Enterprise Melton actually turned it into the easiest part. Fantastically friendly team who obviously really care about their customers asking with interest about what had happened and try and make things as painless as possible for you. Would gladly use again.
Pathetic customer service. Refused to talk to me even though I had a car rented with them at the time. Never answer the phone and when arrived in person just refused to help.
Ben at the Melton Mowbray branch in Leicestershire was fantastic. He offered a warm welcome and explained everything, making it easy to understand. We had a couple of issues with the breakdown company and he ironed these out for us. A true asset to the company.
Booked a large van for house removal. Jack and Keith were very helpful. We reviewed the van pre pick up and they were very honest about the condition of any bumps and dings. The van was perfect for the job. Team at Enterprise Melton were very good. We have booked again for the bank holiday weekend
We have hired from Enterprise for many years but only recently have we used Melton Mowbray branch. We have had excellent service, The process is easy and straightforward. Based on our experience Enterprise will always be our first choice.
I rated this as the Leicester branch in error, my review should have been on the melton mowbray branch. My review of melton mowbray was that my daughter had booked a van for a house move but late the day before she was due to pick it up they rang & said she couldn’t have the van as they’d double booked it. How can this happen & not be spotted earlier? House moves are stressful at the best of times and to do this is unacceptable.
Brilliant service, office always answered my questions and gave me a guidance. At the arrival Bilal explained all policies and procedures, he had positive attitude and answered all questions. Once my car was ready in garage in Leicester I was able to drive the hire car there and they have collected it themselves, so comfortable when you have to travel with 2year old ! Thanks a lot
Great Service Vehicle was excellent, Transit Custom clean and tidy and very nice to drive. Bilal the assistant that talked me through all the bits and bobs regarding the hire could not of been more helpful, a lovely chap to talk to, mind you all the staff at the Melton depot are very nice and professional in their approach to dealing with you. I would have no hesitation in recommending this location if you are looking to hire a vehicle of some kind
